So I recently had a computer problem where, after logining into my computer as usual, it would go to a black screen with no windows explorer and no desktop background and only a mouse cursor. I have since fixed the problem using a recovery partition, but the problem happened to occur right after I installed Natural Selection 2 through Steam and while I was playing the game. I got some warnings from my anti-virus about the game, but I figured they where either false positives or just warnings about the game changing my system settings.
It's probably just a coincidence that installing and playing Natural Selection 2 coincided with this problem, but I figured I would ask if anyone else had this problem before I reinstall this game.
I have the feeling that your anti-virus actually did that. Which av is it?

You'll notice it in combat more because you need to move backwards. Moving backwards is considerably slower than forwards in this.
Played a few rounds of this game, there are 2 posible causes it sucked for me.
1)Everyone playing is autistic
2)No one had a mic or they are afraid to use it
This ruined the game for me.

1 Who cares if someone is autistic, That isn't going to affect the gameplay.
2 Do you have a mic? It's easy to wish for some smart guy with a mic to play commander but everyone on your team is wishing for the same thing.
I love it when a comm leaves 30 minutes into the game, someone jumps in, and then someone else through their mic says "I hate comms who don't talk".

I must have bad luck because it seems like the more I've played the less people have mics. Though it was funny last night when there was a Frenchman talking on the mic that was ready to surrender when things started to get bad. Leave it to the French to give up before all is said and done. We ended up winning that match too with most of the team in dual minigun exos.
I have a mic but I don't use it or be commander for that matter, I never tried either.
I'm too scared to go into the commander chair tbh

Rookies servers are the worst. They're just full of assholes who are specifically there to score some easy kills and feel good. I despise people that give rookie commanders a hard time on rookie servers.

just got kicked out of 5 different servers for having a white name. somebody is literally sitting in spectator watching the player list for white names and kicking them.
