I am trying to join a game, but when loading a map I constantly get timeouts.
It always happens when it's precaching as well.
I get like 3 kills per game and i'm still having a blast

So I just idly checked my inventory and apparently I have a copy of this in it. Not entirely sure why. But anyway, if anyone wants NS2 I'll be willing to trade it for the Cave (£9.99, as opposed to £18.99).
Why not play it yourself?

IMO I think the face is more threatening then the current NS2 fade.
I remember them saying that they made the Kharaa's eyes rounded (like a human) to show that they weren't "predators" or make them look more evil than they are.

I need the practice, I can't shoot aliens for squat and I'm not much of an alien either. It'd be good to be able to practice on some bots like in CS:GO so I can understand the aliens better, and get used to them in general.
Command practice would be nice too, I want to be commander but I'm afraid of being an absolute screw up.

Noone will mind if you play as a commander and you don't know what to do, that's why NS2's community is great
Just say that you are a new player that wants to learn how to play commander and your entire team will be helping you

Had some comm that refused to type or speak to us at all... until he ragequit. Then he cried about how I asked him to put down forward bases (when we had 200 resources), over his mic and left.

If you think that's bad, I had a commander that was stupidly quiet over the mic so we couldn't hear him, never bought any more infantry portals until 12 minutes into the game, and never bought welders until 18 minutes into the game. Then blamed the rest of the team when we lost and took my question "Why did we not get welders until so late into the game" as a personal insult.

With every update I hope my performance will go up a few more frames, I typically average between 40-60 FPS, which is pretty visible when I play other games.
Did the update break servers or something? Looking for a game and there's like no servers available.
