There's like 84 servers coming up in total and 6 or so are getting better than 70% performance and 90 ping
Of those 5 are the same clan group that gets shittacular performance despite what the browser says, and the other is an 8-player server.
Should of seen the Gorge nerf coming. God damn it, it was already a pain in the ass to hit marines with that slow ass moving projectile.
Yeah it's pretty bad, I would rather heal my hydras or use my bile bomb; which is totally awesome and I hope they don't ever nerf.
The "nerf" (more like a change) to the nerf spit is really.. poorly thought out.
Now that it registers hits correctly, gorges are able to put up a fight in direct combat, which is fine, however, changing the speed of the spit doesn't do jack diddly shit, all it does is make gorge players re-learn how far you're gonna lead a spit, so you don't fix the problem, you just delay it, gorges are just gonna get used to the new speed of their projectile and it's gonna be the same.

The spit was also nerfed in damage, from 40 to 30.
Honestly the problem i have with the gorge is it's survivability in the early game.

Well I don't understand why make it slower ontop of reducing damage then, but eh, developper choices.
What i've noticed is that the nanogrid will horribly backfire, usually the gorge bile bomb was the only way to fuck up the marines when they camped down in there and with the vents sealed over forces the aliens to go through marines blasting at them, nonetheless being able to jump and restrict them from going anywhere.
I've noticed a sharp increase in marines dicking around the vents. I keep getting heart-attacks when I suddenly run into someones shotgun in the "safe" went. :v:
nanogrid is really hard for aliens to secure, in my experience, especially with these new nerfs. When i command marines just one or two Arcs in the one area i always shove them in, and a few radar scans, and nanogrid is screwed. especially since i usually put up sentries and have a marine with the Arcs.

Hah this is pretty much one of the biggest reasons why I love playing this game. I just imagine aliens shitting themselves hearing humans scurrying around in the vents.
I have yet to play a Combat game that didn't have Marines using the damn Vents; every single game, always at the same time markers too. Find it quite a bit rarer in the normal game by comparison, thankfully.

If aliens get nanogrid I'll just roll around popping cysts so they never get a chain going to it. Doesn't usually take more than 1 marine to keep the whole thing down.

It also doesn't take more than 1 gorge to keep the cysts and harvesters inside nanogrid alive.
Do they still receive the harvesters' resources if they're not connected?

Seems they have abandoned the rather mundane idea that crags should deploy babblers. From what I can see, there is no crag anywhere near those babblers, but there was a Gorge.

Sounds like aliens are going to be buffed with the addition of babblers and tunnels.
what they really need to do is rework the resource system, it's just too big of an advantage to aliens the way it is right now. aliens only need 3 rt's to be effective whereas marines need at least 4.
