This was flashing on the "You are dead" screen right after I died suspiciously. I'm suspecting random character corruption or possibly a hacker.
One feature that I hope gets implemented into Dayz is a 'time of death'. You see so many corpses on the floor, it would be useful to know if they died 5 mins ago or a few hours.

Fuck, this server is bad luck for me. Everytime I've been killed lately is by a hacker on this server. I don't even play on uspvt much anymore.

It's IN DayZ it just doesn't spawn.
So I was jumping around servers, trying to find a new one to play on (old favorite is out dated/hasn't updated for a while). I enter a warehouse type building and see a dead ghillie suit body. I turn to my left and see three people standing with ghillie suits. I immediately say over voice "Oh god don't kill me". Name tags were on this server and I noticed none of them had names. I checked the player list and only one other person was on. They all had really good stuff(nv goggles, rare weapons, gps, a spare ghillie suit and camo clothing) each with a coyote pack full of goodies. Tons of good guns, each had a PDW as a sidearm. I walked away with a new M4A1 CCO(1 mag), PDW(4 mags), AS50(with 10 mags). First time I've seen most of those guns.
Items of interest on them: Range finder, MK 49 mod 0, M249 Saw, AKM.

Go to the player menu and wait like 5 minutes then try logging on.
Allegedly soldier clothing has an extremely rare chance of spawning at crash sites, but honestly I've mostly seen it hacked in so I don't know, and I only heard it from one person who probably heard it from someone else etc etc.
i found camo clothing along with an FN FAL and a box with 11 stanags in it at a crash site

Camo clothing and soldier clothing are different, camo spawning is undisputed.
The one time I have seen the "Soldier" outfit in-game was when it was on my own body. I found it inside a metal box on the beach that was [I]bigger on the inside than the outside[/I].

I played with a buddy today. We had to cross a field to a downed chopper and as I was shooting the zombies away (there were 3 other people on the server so I figured no big deal) we heard a DRM shot. Buddy yells, "SERPENTINE, MUFUCKA" and we ran off into the woods. Shot the guy a few times and he must have alt f4'd.
I love this game, it's full of surprises.

Serpentine only works if you scream "SERPENTINE!" in direct chat.

Well, clothing items don't exist in ArmA, so it was definitely made for DayZ. The only thing to confirm is if it spawns.
It doesn't spawn but its in the mod.
I keep getting kicked from the server.
