I have some questions, with DayZ commander, it will download Dayz and Dayz+ right? Do I even download both, or can I pick one? Also do I get to build stuff with DZ+ (DZ=DayZ) and can I still play with people who own DayZ. I am very confused.

you can download every single mod and have them all work fine, if you have DayZ+ you can join DayZ+ [I]and[/I] regular DayZ servers.

My friend calls me a dick for killing people, so I saw some guy in the supermarket and I thought I would try to be nice for a change. I talk to him a bit, he says he is friendly (he doesn't have a mic). I follow him around for a bit and talk. He goes into the church, I go in. As soon as I turn my back, he shoots me in the back of the head.
And that's why I usually kill people when I see them, and also don't trust people who don't have mics, as they could be a 12 year old retard who would happily kill someone who trusted them :C
Anyway, I've just been running around Elektro (unarmed) looking for people who might be cool. Everyone I meet kills me before I can even say hello. Its probably because I have a bandit skin but there's not much I can do about that :( I only kill people because it's basically kill or be killed.
I met a nice guy while playing for my first time, he gave me a double Barrel Shotgun. Only two bullets left. Then after being chased by zombies, I went to a lighthouse.

Can anyone explain to be why/how the bell rings in Cherno/Elektro? When I first started playing I thought it was some player caused event, made me avoid the shit out of Cherno/Elektro for awhile, then I thought it happened every in-game hour but that isn't the case either. Is it just random?

Finally had a good bit of fun playing with my friend for like the past 4 hours. We walk miles struggling to get food, just about survive, finally get some blood packs and get set up nicely, about to head into the country where it will be safer, all set up to go. Then hackers teleport everyone and everyone just drops dead.
What's even in that for the hacker? They set out solely to ruin everyones fun.
God damn, the standalone had better have good anti hack.

I had an AK looking for food and supplies searching through a school, bumped into a random with an axe. The stranger screamed "FRIENDLY!" to which I replied okay, turn the other way and leave me alone. I went to the second floor and he came back up with a shotgun and blasted the shit out of me (he had the same skin/shades). Still finding this game to be an endless rape cycle, I think the experience is much different if you don't have friends who play games and play it alone.

Well don't leave people unattended. Theres no true "friendly" in this game, more of "I don't want to fight right now". you should of told him to leave the area and if he refused, executed him. When you get the upper hand on someone, never let it go
