god i was the exact same, I was trying to be as friendly as possible to everyone I could. First few people I met were friendly back, too. After I went through the "bullet to the head' treatment everyone else does I changed a little, but not into a bandit. I still believe that killing on sight completely ruins the game for everyone, so I just do my best to get control over a situation and force them out, avoiding killing if possible. I even use the whole "my friends got a sniper pointed at you" routine and it works.

Was trying out DayZ 2017, spawned near Elektro, get a hatchet and all of a sudden some guy starts firing at me, I try to run away and just as I was about to take cover in the fire station he gets me and I pass out, when I recover there's this guy standing above me and he says in prox. voice chat "don't attack me I'm gonna heal you", then he says it's not giving me the option so he drops a bandage for me to pick up and tells me to use it, as I'm using it he shoots me twice and laughs in my face, turns out it was the same guy.
Respawn somewhere, was running along the road hear an helicopter, guy sees me before I managed to prone and lands it next to me, at this point I don't know what's going to happen, well equipped guy comes out with a sniper rifle and asks me "do you want this? I'm logging out", I accepted of course, before he leaves he drops ALL of his gear, gave me a map, the sniper, makarov, ammo for them, compass, watch and all the other stuff to find my way around, lots of bandages, food and water and a larger backpack than the one I had. I thank him and he logs out, I equip all the stuff, take the helicopter to the woods, make my way to elektro and the fucking bandit that shot me was still camping the same spot, shot him with the sniper and left for the heli, got the heli back up and flying again and just flew to an island where I left it as I logged out inside a lighthouse, you just don't get this kind of fun in WarZ :v:

I had told him when I died that I was coming back for him so I just made sure he knew it was me by saying "Not so strong now that my weapon is bigger than yours, are you?"

lel, im razzle. uh pretty much a better system that prevents combat loggers. less ways to dupe gear. new maps like Namalsk (try this its really good) which is based off of something like Stalker I really don't know.
as of standalone Rocket is still working on it.

Im currently having a problem with Dayz, it freezes every 5-15 seconds for about 10 seconds. After it is unfrozen, in chat it says "Player (name) is losing connection". I don't think I have a bad connection, because I have great internet and low ping. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

My friend was playing DayZ and he's now apparently "global banned"? He definitely does NOT use hacks or anything related to hacks. What's the explanation behind this seemingly random global ban?

Man that sessions of 2017 (Got it working by re-installing the mods) was intense, I finally meet up with my friend and his group, get to around 8 people in it. In Berezino, I die there. I spawn at Elektro so I had to spent an hour going back to Khelm (Since that is where they wanted me to and where they disconnected). Not far from it, I got hit by a zombie and I started bleeding. I just HOPE this is Klehm. I don't want to do it again.

I get messages on servers on occasion saying to ignore warnings of "global ban" or "marked for global ban" or shit like that. They're reportedly from skiddie shitties trying to scare him. Can he still play?

It apparently disconnects him from the server after closing down the message. So, I doubt it's just this script kiddies.
It seems as though there's no one I remember still playing this. Either way I'd like to get back to playing in a group of Facepunchers again. Just re-installed ArmA II and OA as well as updating DayZ, Lingor and Namalsk.
I haven't played for a while but I remember a fair bit. Anyone up for grouping up? (I'll be a fresh spawn.)
