Played for 20 minutes last night because I hadn't played in ages, walked to elektro, heard gunshots in the forest, being the good survivor I am, stalked the forests for 20 minutes, snuck up behind two guys and killed them both.
Now I'm sitting on some hill somewhere with an Mk48 mod 0 with 250 bullets, an FN FAL with 90 shots, NVG'S, rangefinders and all this other shit, and I don't want any of it. I've quit playing.
What should I do with all this shit

I was just messing around in the southern barracks while nobody was on the server, and went into the last room to check it for gear. As I exited I saw that another player had silently appeared about halfway down the hallway. I shat my pants and fired about half a mag as fast as I could. Turns out he was spawning in and was friendly. Now I feel bad.

Had the same experience, but it was me and bluedot. I spawned in the room he was looting. I unloaded on him and he did the same to me.

is it possible for hackers to take control of your character? i was just out with my buddy when all of a sudden I started getting connection issues and I lost control of my character, my semi-auto gun was fired into my friend on seemingly full auto and then my character ran off through the woods, so I ctrl alt deleted out and come back and I still have all my ammo...

Probably, my inventory was edited by some hacker, so I guess they can do everything if they have the scripts to do it.

This might sound harsh but anyone who is inexperienced (read "stupid") enough to log out INSIDE what is arguably the most fucking dangerous building in all of Chernarus, deserves to be shot in their face multiple times, even if just as an educational measure.

Unless James changed the loot tables, the soldier clothes are absolutely hacked items, and anyone with them is either a hacker or has looted a hacker.
