I have been having the same problem with my Cherno server, zombies spawn but loot has became really scarce and if there is any it's pretty worthless. The military, factory, and hospital spawns have been left intact, however everything else got messed up for whatever reason.
So uh, I was sprinting and I pressed V and did like, a dive roll. Is this a thing now?

Yeah I play on Codes Taviana server and I'm in desperate need of water and since no zombies are spawning no drinks are spawning (and I don't have a water bottle).

Yeah I guess but the whole getting really high off the ground while doing it is only client side.
I am looking for an admin who would be willing to host a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. themed map (Namalsk comes to mind first) and port Icewindo's Stalker character models into the game. On my part, I pay server hosting charges for let's say three months and bring in lots of dedicated players to fill up the server. Anyone interested?

Yeah, but you need to have a primary out to do it, and slightly before an obstacle else you'll just jump into it

Heh, yeah I always take things a bit too far.
Is it possible to turn the HDR off? It's just really annoying for my screen to go ridculously dark to absurdly bright every time I look anywhere near the sunrise/sunset.

So, when we switch maps. What do you guys prefer? I'm thinking Namalsk isn't as fun the second time around. Loot is too sparse, far too many zombie spawns, bloodsuckers to fuck your shirt, Blowouts to fuck your shirt, cold to fuck your shit.

There's a HDR Setting in the Advanced Video Settings, and you can turn it to 'Off'. I have no idea of that truly turns it off though

I can't say I've never done the same thing. I even had one guy give me the bullets I used to shoot him in the face (obviously he didn't know my intentions at the time). I've given that life up though. Now I uphold what little law there is left.

I think so. When I turned night-time on the player count dropped dramatically so it's going back to 24 hour daytime this weekend. Weekdays are bad for turn out, so hopefully we'll have a good number of people on this weekend.
Not changing the map though, no one can agree on a good one.
I remember I was in one of the cities once, can't remember which map or nothin, never played too much Day Z but I'm wanting to get back into it. Anyway, I was heading towards into his little factory section of the city when somebody starts shooting at me out of nowhere. So i run a bit and climb up a ladder into a bunch of industrial walkways and what not and found a nice corner to hide in, he had an assault rifle and all I really had was a dinky little pistol and an axe so I figured hiding was my best option. So I kinda ended up just sitting there for a couple minutes until I hear him coming down the stairs near me when all of a sudden; "The server must now be reset for maintenance." Or something along those lines, the server goes down, and that's basically the story of how server downtime saved my character's life. Unfortunately things didn't pan out too well seeing as about 15 minutes later I fell while exploring a building and broke my legs and the same guy came up behind me and executed me while I was trying to crawl away. Fun stuff.
I have a beautiful story that had just occured to me and my friend yesterday.
My friend Tim had joined a server with high-end loot, and a few minutes in, is killed by another guy called Ryan. Disappointed by the loss, Tim rejoined and i decided to join him for a game. After playing for another 15 minutes, soon enough we crossed paths again with Ryan, in his brand new military chopper (2-seated). Expectantly, Tim devised a brilliat plan to get back at Ryan. Somehow i managed to convince Ryan to give me a lift and he dropped down for me. Instead of me hopping in, Tim jumped in posing like me. After flying a few dozen meters away, I began shouting at him for 'flying away without me'.You would not believe Ryan's expression as to having another person in his aircraft, who was not me. He freaked out, forcing Tim to eject or he would crash. Strangely enough, the chopper hit a tree killing Ryan, and with Tim surviving at 1000 blood.
We ended up playing a few more hours, and during that time we had found Ryan again, squashing him with a car, and leaving him out there with broken legs.
After the entire playthrough, Tim survived 3 chopper crashes and 4 attacks, while I was killed by slipping on some stairs.
~Dayz Experience - It can be awesome, and outrageously stupid at time.
