Alright, there should be a noticeable reduction in hackers now. (but not the heavy ones that teleport entire servers, sadly) People are getting kicked, not banned though. (A bit unreliable detection method, probably)

Most likely what's going to happen is that BE is rounding up a enormous list of GUIDs before mass banning as a "Message" to future hackers.
The problem is though it's not a triumphant win to ban players who spawn gear or use DayZ navigator; the real problem is the annoying players who mass TP/Kill everyone in a server, which this latest BE update doesn't really fix.

packed with just about everything you can think of in this "tent city". I'd say every gun in dayz is in these tents, along with uniforms/ammo/canned goods ect.
So I was having a wonderful time with soccersky, who I met at the SW airstrip, when a bandit shoots me, and runs after soccer. I was just paralyzed and right as it wore off, the bandit ran past me, so I chopped his leg with my hatchet. He fell down and I kept hatcheting him until he was dead. then I bandaged myself, got up, mourned my new friend's death (looted both corpses) and continues on about my way with a shiny new AKS Cobra.

I killed a "hacker" on that server yesterday, stole his AS50, he then started saying " I'm gonna hack you".
That is the last we heard of our dead hacker friend for the day.

I'm always friendly to everyone I meet.
I know the game well enough to get my own loot, so there's no real need to kill anyone.
Found a car, picked up an hero getting chased by zeds. Transfuse him so I can get hero too. I then go to fill up gas cans at the factory in the east part of the map. We both drop dead and when I respawn am I no longer a hero.

First life of DayZ in a while, went to Electro to be a medic for my entire life there, fully unarmed, no intent of killing anyone (maybe zombies).
And then I get 2 bullets from some machine gun and die.

I'm so close to buying Arma 2 for this, but $30 is a little much for me to gamble on right now. I might wait for a sale, but I know Halo 4 will take up a ton of my time. Are there any deals going on anywhere, I'd happily spend $15-20 right now.
I haven't really looked into this game till now and I read the OP a little, is it kinda like Wurm online with the multiplayer aspect but with zombies and stuff?
