DayZ Mod V4 - Admins need more rights! - Games

Okay just to clear things up. THERES NO SUCH THING AS AN SD M4A3. There's: M4A1 M4A1 CCO M4A1 CCO SD M4A1 Holo M4A1 Holo SD (hacked in) M4A3 CCO (flashlight) M4A3 Acog GL (Hacked in) Perhaps a few others but that should cover whatever you guys talked about. Also the M4A3 isn't even a real gun, those are all M4A1s and the A3 is some shit bushmaster or some asshole came up with so Bohemia decided to use it for god knows why.

the bandit system is awful meta bullshit. If a guy shoots at you and you're both just survivors, you kill him in self defense, congrats you're now a bandit, and it just gives people an excuse to shoot you on sight. Not to mention how sketchy Day Z handles switching character models. The old heart beat system while still lame was better, ideally it should just not be part of the game.

I shot at 2 dudes with an AS50 and then they combat logged. Then I got killed by bomber.

Jesus, I saw a sniper on the hill every single one uses, so I go up there to get him, almost ran into a dude. I was like "wait he's not wearing a ghillie now.. whatever i'll kill him anyways" Then I look down the hill and see the guy I saw originally and some other guy stand up with an enfield and end me. So I killed a hacker in a guille suit at electro He had a AS50 TWS, and does that get me banned if I use it?

Right now the #1 focus in the standalone DayZ is stopping hackers.

I think I'm about to pull the trigger on this. Any technical stuff I need to know? I've read about people losing items.

So, I went ahead and tried out Fallujah today. The experience was not very fun. Joined a server, grabbed some loot and foodstuffs and began my journey. Got shot no more than an hour in, which sucked. So what, it's DayZ right? You're supposed to die, that's where the fun is. Spawned in what I can only describe as the Kamenka spawn from Chernarus, where there is nothing around and nothing to kill yourself with except for a tall object. Switched servers because my friend had found a SAW and a DMR at an airfield, so I thought that would be fun and we could fix helicopters and make friends and such. This next part surprised me more than anything I've ever seen in DayZ. A team of 8 survivors who barely knew each other formed within minutes and started on repairing a helicopter, so we could explore the new land together. And that would have been great too, if some asshole had to ruin it all. Said he was friendly too, and that's the part that got me the most. How do you go around lying like that? It seems pointless to me, seeing as there's enough loot to go around as well as vehicles. Hell, we hadn't even fixed up the heli yet. Luckily, I was off scavenging for parts to not be killed in the initial "explosion" from the bandit. Unluckily enough, though, I was close enough to two more dickweeds in a truck with a turret. They didn't need to shoot twice, because apparently one has perfect aim when going 60. TL;DR: People who cry friendly and the then backstab people are assholes, and I wish them the worst.

My first Fallujah experience, was spawning near some houses, went there and found a working heli at a red barn. It was the heli that is usually at crashed helicopter sites.

I've got a Fallujah server up for fun on the weekends, I've decided to make it a bit different then other servers. I've established a small anti-bandit group that patrols and helps out new spawns, would you guys be interested in something like this?

Does anyone know how to fix the ?/2500 ping in the server browser? It's fine when you go through "remote connect" but if I try from the gamebrowser directly via internet/filter, that's what I see on all of my servers. Fun stuff.

When the standalone dayz comes, will all characters be reset? and we lose all our weapons?

Fallujah is a terrible map for DayZ, even worse than Takistan

I went from an axe to two m4a1 CCOs SD and an AS50, double rangefinders, nvgs, other cool stuff after axing a guy with one of the m4a1s and the AS50. Although when I went to store it briefly in a tent, it ate one of the m4a1s and all other doubles. Plus starting over and scavenging is a lot of fun.

I've begun on a grand adventure, last night I posted about someone teleporting everyone in a server to debug, luckily it wasn't too deep into it and i've come out at the top left of the map. Even more lucky is I decided to grab my map and gps just before being teleported. Luckier still is I just found a cz and a bus moments after leaving the woods.

Question when in debug, which direction is east or southeast? Just travel in the suns direction?

Also, DayZ Navigator (ESP Hack) and DayZ Survival (Spawning Hack) just got updated which completely circumvents the latest BE update... Sure they mass banned a lot of people but ultimately it didn't do a single thing.

Just because someone may have end-game gear doesn't mean they hacked it. With so many players out there that have spawned ammo crates, hacked gear, then died at the hands of other players, it leaves a lot of room for circulation of these items. Many, many, maaaany people are duping end game gear to keep it unofficially in the game.
