Hahah, we sniped a hacker out of his chopper on a pretty much empty server, then after flying willy nelly about over the skies, we got shot at at the airfield. Then on the way out of the airfield.
Then right down the coast to Kamenka (he was teleporting below us, then taking a shot at us with his AS50).
The dumb motherfucker then teleported himself into the ocean and lost all his gear and had nothing left.
After we spent 10 minutes laughing our asses off, he began bombarding us with M203 grenades and it took out our tail rotor. Although we just flew up and wasn't a problem anymore.
After all he was defeated, he detonated a server bomb and killed us, but we swiped his username, gave it to an admin on the Teamspeak Server (who looked through the logs to confirm everything) and told us the motherfucker would be banned within 2 days or so.
Oh man these butthurt skiddies are fucking terrible at hacking :v:

Also, i'd just started playing on a new character looking for a lake to fill up a water bottle. I find one and when I get near it I notice there's about 10 tents submerged under the water filled with the best equipment in the game (weirdly no ghillie suits though). However I can't remember the server if I ever want to go back to get more stuff

That restriction is supposed to happen when a vehicle is destroyed. I think James runs scripts that destroy spawned vehicles, so people could be spawning vehicles, getting in, and blowing up and therefore getting kicked. Or it could just be hackers keeping the server empty

As for players, DMR is the best weapon. The look and feel of it makes it the most comfortable sniper to use, besides the SVD which I can never find.

Me and volts on the server just got dropped by some mysterious silenced attack. Can't confirm it was the hacker. We did not see it coming at all.
Hackers actually join 15 player servers now? DayZ must be dying.
I've seen hackers on 5 player servers.

The hacker killed 2 people near me and wounded me, I also so trees falling down (if that doesn't scare the shit out of you) I ran away and was killed several minutes later.

Its like drag and drop 1 file then type in a couple commands into command prompt.
It was night so i thought i would visit the airfield. Well I found a coyote backpack and a pdw. Sadly right as I wanted to log off I got killed by some three tacticool dudes. Fuckers took my L85. I am mad as hell. They killed some other guy who then tried to ask them for a ride (they had a heli) but they killed him because he was "rude". That was quite funny. I ran to the NWAF to find my corpse and during that I got kicked for high ping. Then when I reconnected my map was gone. Luckily i wasnt far away from stary. I got another map there, a m24 in the tents and ran to the NWAF. Well my body was gone, they hid it. I went to the barracks as they were nearby and found this beauty. I thought that it would be perfect to shoot their chopper as they would land. Sadly I fired it by accident but the rocket didn't even fly out. It seems to be glitched. They returned to the NWAF with their chopper and started shooting at me. I was in the barracks so they couldnt hit me. Sadly I couldnt hit them neither. They then flew away and didnt return. Wasted 2h of my bedtime for this. I wish I logged off sooner. But since its a private hive I hope I will see them and get the opportunity to rape them in the ass.

Why does everyone hate on games/mods similar to DayZ even the ones in development before DayZ even started, after seeing some of the articles popping up accusing my Crysis 2 mod (dead matter) of 'imitating' dayz I feel like complete shit and literally sick to my stomach.
Well just by looking at your mod's description its essentially DayZ on Cryengine 3. CO-OP and missions sound interesting though.

There is no multiplayer period, I tried to get it working when it was an indie game but sadly that falls apart really quickly when you don't have a team that is paid (People are really unmotivated when there is no money involved)
I've been developing the mod for nearly 10 months before I even heard of DayZ and like 6 months before DayZ was even released. If I wanted to copy DayZ then I would have done my mod very differently. My mod is more or less rebuilding society and basebuilding, there are basically stages of the mod you play through. The first one is kinda like an initial shock of wtf just happened, you basically loot stores and survive during this phase, if you survive this phase then you move onto base building which usually means barricading a building with whatever you can find, and lastly after that there is a stage in which society starts to rebuild and towns start to show up that you can interact with, some hostile, some friendly.
Now that I think of it, almost sounds a tiny bit like spore except your glued to first person.
