I don't know if having 1000 videos on youtube over a 5 year "career" of doing it gives me any sort of grounds to give advice, or if it makes me look like a cunt for thinking so..
But the video wasn't bad.. you just lacked any direction and give little if any "tips" other than to avoid coastal towns. I'm genuinely interested in tips from someone who plays as a survivor - because I'm a PK'er for the most part, I only "survive" the actual game content when I have to - otherwise players are my [i]only[/i] concern. Anyway, I'm giving advice on the video not your choice of topic.
Your quality is fine but you need to disable resample for your footage (I'm going to assume you're using Sony Vegas), to do so right click on the video when it's on the editing bar and go to properties and change it to "disable resample". Disabling resample will take away the ghosting or the "cheap" motion blur that appears when you move the camera quickly. Alternatively, record and render at a consistent framerate. (30fps for youtube)
As for the flow of your commentary, like your description said it lacked any sort of planning. I don't usually plan too much for videos but I always like to go through the video in my head unless it's a live commentary or being made solely as a rambling video. Don't be afraid to edit and do cuts to the video and commentary to improve the flow. Removing a 5 second silence and the odd "and uhh..." from the commentary track goes a long way for viewer retention.
Keep it up though, seems like you might have a lot of useful info seeing as you've played for so long.

i plan on doing more in the future, this video just sorta happened on the spot
and cutting out silent parts and whatnot sounds like a great idea, can't believe i didn't think of it before

Why is USPVT still running on the chernarus map? Are all the mapchange plans scrapped? Roll some lingor on it, with FP on it it's going to be a funtime.

As I said, i was a passanger in the SUV, Joe picked me up and killed you. I did nothing.
Server is so fucking laggy I killed 3 people and used all my ammo. The last guy killed me because of the lag. I also forgot to mention that I had the jump on all of them.
I cant seem to find the FP server from Six Launcher or the in game browser :(

Im gonna join USPVT and try to join someones group because I still suck at not getting eaten.
I met this Bambi, an inspiring type - Alone with nothing but a hatchet, standing on the shore saluting me as I ran towards him. His name was German and I couldn't pronounce him, so after the formal salute back to confirm our bond of friendship I called him "Beebep".
We ran together all the way from Sol to Electro, a long walk giving us time to talk; I won't lie, he was hard to understand but this attempt to speak English was terrific.
As we approached Sol, I said to him we should go to the sniper hill and check for snipers; We layed together side by side crawling up the mountain with nothing but a hatchet to use against our foe. It was intense. The further we got the more my heart beat until I hear "FRIENDLY FRIENDLY" and something else followed up in German; A bandit sniper surrendering to the wrath of the newly formed "Beebep hatchet squad".
Beebep spoke to the sniper and the sniper then said "Freddie, there are 3 corpses over there, go there and loot them, one of them has a winchester" and with my new role of corpse thief I ran away into the distance.
10 minutes after my new role, and I was lost, I was running around this power station looking for corpses; however it was too long and Beebep set off after me. I did not know this of course and I used my binoculars to search for Beebep off in the distance. I hear footsteps - I switch to my new revolver; They are in the fire station, running around lost - Its Beebep! He's come to save me! I waited there and watched him look for me; Eventually I shouted "Beebep on the roof" and I watched Beebep turn around to face me; Beebep had more then a hatchet; Beebep had a Enfield; He shot, my friendship with Beebep flashed before my eyes "FUCK YOU BEEBEEPPP" I shouted in rage "FUCK YOUUUU" I was hit and downed; and for the first and last time ever I heard Beebep's voice "I've got you FREDDIEEEE" a quick burst of gun fire was exchanged - And then there was nothing; I will miss you Beebep. Got tele'd back to the shore for some reason, so I walked into electro to look for some food before I made my journey north. I went into the grocery store and grabbed up what food I could and decided to check the church before I left. There was a bus there, slammed into the church entrance, missing only a pair of wheels. I decided to see if I could repair it and drive it north. I went to the industrial center where I found an unarmed survivor. He was but a child, from Germany. He barely spoke English but I decided to call him Fritz. I made him a deal, if he carried the tires I needed for the bus, I would give him my M4 SD I had in my pack. I watched the doors while he searched warehouses. We found both the tires, but in the last warehosue he came out with a hatchet and walked up behind me. All I heard was the click of an empty weapon, he forgot to reload it before he tried to attack me. I shot him in the legs with my MK48 then sat off to the side and watched the zombies much on him till he rage quit'd. No. fucking. regrets.
