Like, there are 5 maps now instead of only one. I havent played in a while, but I am now coming back. Basically, whats new, the last time I played was about 1-2 months ago.
Alot. Most of the artifacting was fixed, many things added. Uh, and other things. Chernarus is still the only official map though.
Nothing has actually changed.

It's "fixed" in that it doesn't come from corpses anymore, it just kind of shows up sometimes.

i play on aussie server, ~20people on at the same time i play, and there i still havent encountered hackers.

So I had an exciting day today. Got to run from NWA to the NE Airstrip to provide Space sniper support.
Apparently he killed Pandz, but Pandz got to the airstrip,grabbed his gear, and managed to kill me in about 10 minutes. I'm starting to doubt that it was Pandz, but whoever shot me had some good aim.
Then Caik, Caleb, Pandz, Vesocia, and Space got in a big arguement over what happened a day or two ago and started spamming the side chat with it.
DayZ is weird.
