I was playing on an Aussie server (I am still unconscious on the FP one) and I logged out at the barracks because of dinner, came back and there was a car there, the guy ran out and interacted with the car, one round to the head from my M16.
I don't bother too loot him because I can hear other gun fire and there are Zeds everywhere, so I hop in his car and drive away. I get out of the NWAF and then head to the nearest town fro fuel because it is in the red, I am just about to get into town and the car is running on vapours when a ghillie suit runs across the road in front of me, he gets in the bushes and I swerve to hit him, the car is totalled but he has all the gear I need (I left Elektro without any tools).
After looting him I start to run up a hill to try and get away from the scene, then I run into a group of three guys... didn't end well. I think I killed one with my M203.

Hey guys, the mod that adds more Zombies and swaps out all the weapons for high quality ones, just a general enhancement has been released and I am running a test on my server, I also hid a crashed C130J on the map with glorious loot.

They looked pretty damn cool, although I don't think there's enough variety in the loot in the game to fill all these new buildings - that's why I think Rocket really has to go batshit crazy with adding new items.
Also we are gonna need ST_Movement in these or bust.
So I haven't played DayZ in a little while and decided to give it another go with some friends, I updated everything with DayZ Commander and even downloaded and installed some of the maps like Lingor island, so I try to use steam to launch Combined Operations and I get this initial error saying "this game is currently unavailable (application running)" So I run the game through DayZ Commander and it starts up almost normal except it says: "No entry 'C:\Users\...\ArmA2OA.cfg.3D_Performance'." then proceeds to run the game after that I can join Chernarus maps but can't join any of the other maps that I downloaded and installed with Dayz Commander. It says I don't have the maps or something.

Thats going to be amazing, I'm definitely going to be buying DayZ standalone this december/november. Its a shame one of the key people designing it and ArmA3 are now in jail because of corrupt police.
on another note:
I've added another feature to the server, the stupid unconscious crap is fixed and I've made it impossible to disable somebodies movement/input along with some other hidden goodies.

Me and my friends found a heli at the airfield. We fixed it up after finding a main rotor assembly and got a ton of fuel in it (1/3 which is a ton for a 1000L tank). We had some awesome pickups, we flew around a bit, and then, when we stopped for a short while.
Suddenly a guy teleports next to me with a gun that isnt even in dayz and shoots me through the head while im in the cockpit. My friend gets out and shoots him 3 times in the back with an AS50 and he just turns around and kills him. Then my other friend met his end too.
One of my friends managed to hide and get away, but the hacker stole the heli and we lost all our stuff.
Absolutely livid.
If we had crashed and died in an explosion I would have laughed. This on the otherhand is just fucking annoying. So annoyed.

Wasn't recording when it happened but I hit record when I died. Took a screenshot of the start of the video. He literally teleported next to the heli and shot me in the head with that wierd gun.

Private hive servers a pretty much the only wait to play DayZ without having a hacker kill you every 30 minutes. There's still hackers, but at least there can be a rollback and admins can actually do something against skiddies.
Really, just don't play on normal servers or you're pretty much asking for it.

Me and my friend ran around some public server, found a winchester in a barn along with an AKM in some tent and then I made the mistake of getting cornered up some stairs. RIP me :v:
And there's a hacker. Was at solnichivy factory and someone just appeared. Shot him 100 times with my M16 he didn't even bleed. Then he just kept shooting without reloading and almost killed me.
