wow nice they lifted half the code for the update from the community without asking or crediting it and they "fixed" alt-f4 without "fixing" hackers and shit, that's nice now I don't have to wait until I reload to know if a hacker killed me or not, I already know my body drops dead!!!

Only reason that I bring it up is I figured maybe that's the reason? But even then, picking up hacked items doesn't mean I was hacking and I didn't know if this were true because who goes around banning people with items that don't have a label as to whether they are legitimate or not? Granted, I can kind of see James doing that now to be honest...

So yesterday I started working on something that I had in mind. Which would be an new look for the survivors and I nailed exactly what had in mind. My idea was changing the survivors clothing to something more fitting than the collar-shirt, cargo pants flak jacket and baseball cap attire to: Autumn season jacket, cargo pants, turtleneck with zipper, some kind of detachable backpack harness and a buff that would be covering the face in case the player were a bandit. Under the jacket the character has a belt with elastic straps for ammo and other items and another belt with a few pouches attached to it. I think I have thought it out very well to accommodate for what the character is able to do. Being dressed in a sense that lets you hold a lot of stuff at hand as the jacket I drew was based on a jacket that I own, which could easily hold a few cans of soda and a can of baked beans amongst some other things. The length of the jacket would also accommodate for that you can't see a sidearm being holstered in ARMA2. Another thing I had in mind was that the camo-suits and the silly ghillie-suits would be replaced with the same survivor model with the jacket and cargo pants but the jacket and pants would get a camouflage overhaul depending on what type of camo pattern has been found.
They plan on introducing a new model eventually. The hero skin is a step in the right direction, but a better default would be very nice. I also think they should ditch the humanity/bandit system. Let people have a couple skins to chose from at the start of a life, and have plenty more to find in residential areas.

The hero skin, it's quite untrustworthy, as it might be a bandit who's mostly been killing other bandits and giving a lot of first aid to the fellow bandits in his band.
Ever since one of the beta patches that came out maybe... Two months or so ago, I've been getting a really annoying problem where basically, every other time I try to join a server, I get stuck at "Receiving mission data," for about a minute, then I get kicked off, the game telling me "Client not responding." However, I can come back to the exact same server immediately afterwards and everything is fine. Has anyone else had this problem and, more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it? It's really starting to get on my nerves...

It's so damn unreliable that it's pointless. Hell, my humanity would only ever go up. It would go down when I killed somebody, but when I logged in later it would be back where it was.

I would get a hero skin(over 5000 humanity) and log out just to find it barely under 5000 when I played next time. It sorted itself out after a while though.

If I can't alt F4, how am I suppose to escape/live through a hacker encounter?
