If you're talking about low FPS in urban areas that really just has to do with objects and zombie AI. my FPS goes to shit in the cities usually but I somehow ended up on a server with zombie AI disabled and it ran really well even in the center of Chernogorsk

Arma loves intel cpu's.

It's been a couple of months since I bought ArmA2, and boy am I having a tough time settling into DayZ. I doubt I'm starting it up right, though this dumb SIX launcher whatever that is. I'm pretty much walking around aimlessly looking for anything and everything. Most places I go to I either get killed by a zombie, or a player. This game would be ten times more fun if I had someone else to play with, but I don't have any friends that play this, so I'm all on my own, which is a massive turnoff.
I guess the issue I'm having is that I can't find any fun in this game, only fustration and boredom. And when I DO find fun, I end up getting killed without me having a weapon to stand a chance. Is there any FP servers I can join that I can play with other FP'ers side by side? What about steam groups?
just went on a pub after a long time. First time playing after a long time actually.
It was a hackfest! All cars and choppers spawned to the coast, to some of the spawns. And ammo crates along with them. But everytime I hauled a lot of hacked weapons into a car and wanted to drive off, the hacker made my car explode. Would be actually cool to mess arround if the hacker left anyone alive...
