Does anybody feel like teaming up temporarily? I mainly need a lift from the south coast, I don't particularly have much gear other than an ALICE pack and an AKM with a few mags, along with some assorted ammo from Stary Sobor. I can't really offer much other than mags and shit, but if you feel like giving me a lift from Prigorodky to roughly Stary (anywhere will do really :v:) then I'm up for it

Yeah, I'm on USPVT :v: I'm not sure why I ran from Stary to Prigorodky - everyone else is off playing black ops 2 so I thought I'd kill some time in DayZ. Maybe I hoped for a vehicle, who knows.

New little article with Rocket and how he only killed only[B] "one"[/B] survivor in the whole dayz gameplay time he had. Cool thing about that?[B][U] I was with him[/U] [/B]and it was me who said "wow, you killed him" he then proceeded to feel really really bad and gave me his gps and logged off. He also had 2 other interviews where he said that it was his most intense moment, it definitly was for me too. (Happened around april) and me and a friend have been surrounding him in an apartment then he proceeded to meet us in the backyard at the church (cherno)
Best 40 minutes of dayz I ever had, freaking rocket with me and another dude in a group.

Is there a way to hide this "Monky Monitor" thing I'm getting on a bunch of servers? I get that it's an anti-hacking thing and I'm down with that but I just don't want the thing taking up half the screen and covering up my inventory
I left a bike by the pond in Stary Sobor last night with barely any fuel, props to whoever got it running :v:
I also found this within 20 minutes of spawning in Elektrozavodsk, it's a shame the server went down (non-scheduled) within a few minutes of picking it up:

Well, DayZ requires CASigns_2 and you don't have it.
Thought I'd ask here for a bit of tech support with the game. Decided to play it after a couple of month of not playing and for some reason when I launch it on Steam there's no "Launch ARMA 2:Combined Operations" option any more. Any one have any idea why? I noticed there were some .bat files in the OA folder, too, which are means to launch CO but they don't work :smith:

Just launch ArmA 2: OA, and mark ArmA 2 as one of the expansions.

You can't do it through the launch options, but it may be messed up because of your launch options. Completely disable all of the mods you have active in the launch options

Finally found some NVGs on a new character. Walked into one of the rooms for the barracks to bandage after getting hit by a zombie. He decided to charge into me for no apparent reason. For what ever reason, I was pushed into the wall, killing me instantly.
Just played for a few hours and had a blast. Joined a 50 player server with about 40 people on it. Loot Cherno without one person even noticing me. Head north and find two crashed heli's and both have guns with absolutely no ammo. Just looted NW airfield and there wasn't a single person there. Got an M16 and a G17 out of it, and that was it. Was fun though!

I hate how they made cars even weaker in DayZ. Why? In Arma 2 cars didn't fucking explode when you ran into a roadblock.
Maybe to balance them out or something.

Having the same problem as geogzm. Friend doesn't wanna wait till the standalone comes out, and he's really excited. Anyone know where to get legit, cheap keys? Or the Arma2 OA in general? I plan to buy it for him, as a gift.

Whenever I ask my friend to play DayZ, he says he's busy, but 15 minutes later, he plays for hours with his Steam friends. :C
Ah dammit I'm sure I saw something in the last thread about some software people were using to micpspam in DayZ and Arma II, but I can't find it again for the life of me. Anyone knows what I'm talking about?
