Tried DayZ-Namalsk with a friend the other day.
I really liked it, think I'll start playing that more.

I can already feel teamwork beeing important as fuck in dayz standalone.
So me and Soduhjah were cruising around NWAF for some supplies and then I accidentally accelerated my pickup truck a little too hard and crashed in to a garbage pile. I was knocked unconscious and heard two large explosions - he was unscathed, but I was on the edge of death with no idea how I survived the accident. Then, when I regained consciousness, I was running at an angle:

I suggest to everyone that will get dayz standalone to not spoil it for themselves by looking up lootmaps and tactic guides and such, you might want to read here on the thread about hints and such but don't spoil it for yourself.
I so freaking much miss the scaryness of dayz mod when it first started, we will get that shit back.
I don't like how I know where everything is, but the second I stop using a map I end up in the debug forest

I have a huge problem.
With my last character, I had been killed by a zombie attack. My legs were broken and I had almost no blood. That's fine. But when I spawn as a new character, he has those conditions from my previous guy, so he dies instantly. And it keeps going on like that, no matter what server I join. I don't know what to do :/
So in Namalsk, there's some kind of laser cannon with a scope on it, because we were driving around in a UAZ and took a shot that hit the engine block instantly and we only just managed to bail out before the UAZ blew up.
We then both got shot by what sounded like the laser-cannon that apparently has no travel time as we were running around like crazy motherfuckers and he managed to both of us at ~800m with two shots. Mad levels were high.

With Namalsk being a Stalker-themed map it would make more sense for it to be the one from Stalker.
