What server are you guys all playing on? What's the main FP server nowadays?
^ Me for the Original Poster of the DayZ Mod thread V1, I don't play on the FP servers sadly :( though I have been playing on the Billy Mays Remembrance Foundation Server. Its good server but restarts every four hours at the worst times too and for some reason I have the worst luck with helicopters on that server. Within one day there's two videos happen:

Another quick video. Public servers are a lot more thrilling after playing on a quiet server - I saw at least 4 people on the way to meet Plenti, one of which shot me and then bandaged me right up.
I think that the Lee Enfield is underrated, it's only real downside is that it's loud as fuck

Best PvP weapon. I've used it to snipe people alot in ARMA 2 but I've never had the oppurtunity to do it in DayZ. I would guess it's easier in DayZ but you only got one shot. (Easier because one shot fucks them up bad)

I have taken out so many snipers in Elektro and Cherno with the Enfield...
It is in my opinion the best weapon for high-mid-range combat.
So me and Plenti were running away from Stary Sobor after a VERY risky loot run on a 20+ players server, I found an AS50 with 8 mags in a broken car, and an M4A1 in the tents, then we shot at some guy who was hunting for food. We missed and ran, he caught up with us and fired an M107 at us, missed and we narrowly escaped to the forests. My heartrate then oh jeez

I was playing for a bit and i came across an ammo box in Base camp.
I found: A camo outfit, An Ak-47,ammo and alot of food and stuff. I was really surprised nobody found this before i did.

just went on a pub. Spawned in kamenka and ran towards cherno over balota. arriving in the outskirts of cherno i notice a cluster of vehicles. apparently they were telported. every vehicle had no fuel and most of them had other faults. except one tractor, when i found a jerry can I drove off.
a minute later every vehicle on the server is being teleported again, a suv drives off fast and i sit there.
thinking i could upgrade my steed, i check vehicles, every vehicle being broken again. a minute later i am kicked for hacking.
stupid russians.

Quite a few.
One downside to it is that food is kind of scarce and the only medical supplies is found in one region of the map.
As an effect of that though, meds and food is more valuable.
I haven't played for months, I just installed the newest everything, and I'm getting an error when I try launching Combined Ops saying "This game is currently unavailable ( Invalid application configuration )." Help?

Simplest solution is tying to Steam.
I know another cool map DayZ could be ported over to. Sahrani. Sahrani has already been ported to ArmA 2 from ArmA 1, all you have to do is get some more enterable buildings in there, and you're good.
