DayZ Mod V4 - Admins need more rights!

Today, I lost all my gear because of some douche (finally) got me after firing about 20 rounds. I respawn near Elektro and I see some guy running around with a rifle, I am currently being chased by zombies because I wanted to reveal myself, I search his backpack, find a M249 with tons and tons of ammo.

I mowed him down with his own weapon as he was running from the zombies, kill the zombies and find pretty much everything I could want for several days. Food, medicine, blood bags, tents, Jesus Christ I was happy.

Anyways, felt like a cunt after he said "even after that, I still won't kill people on sight".

Well as long as you only took the M249 you shouldn't feel like a cunt

I played on Namalsk for the first time yesterday, I was going to meet up with some friends.

So I find this deerstand and some zombies guarding it, starting to shoot them with my PDW.

Behind me I see this ghillie guy with an assault rifle shooting in my direction. I thought he was helping me killing the zombies, but I figured he didn't once I was shot

So I ran up to the fucker with my PDW, he was lying on the ground. I simply walked around and behind him, and filled him with lead as he desperately tried to turn around to shoot me with his silenced G36.

Long story short, I took all his shit, the best backpack in the game with an AS50 inside, and his g36.

Good start.

And then I regrouped with my friends, found a car and we drove off in search for artifacts and wealth

Only time I played Namalsk I went in completely blind and ended up getting eaten alive by bloodsuckers as I ran through zombie infested forests. As if DayZ wasn't unforgiving enough already.

I used 13 mods in total :v: there is alot in this video that improves arma. from ace to blastcore visuals modules for prettier colours, jsrs soundmod (best thing ever) and ofcourse the zombiemod called Namalsk Crisis for the few zombies that I actually scripted into the events, it's not random.

You need both ARMA II and ARMA II: OA to play.

It isn't for most people though. That being said I'm not a huge fan of military sims but I did have a lot of fun making my own missions and stuff but I got it cheap months ago so even if I didn't enjoy it, it wasn't a lot of money wasted.

Unless it goes cheap I would just wait for the standalone.

What? I thought that was just a problem with War Z?

Also, I'm totally thinking of picking up Arma II CO for this mod, but I'm getting the ARMA 2 free version first just to see how the game works in general. (Since people seem to mention the engine being annoying a lot)

Still, if it goes for a daily deal or something, I'll pick it up. Especially after that reddit comment by the dev, I don't think the standalone is comming any time soon.
