Be sure to look at the settings and control menu before you start playing.
Find the mouse delay(?) slider and turn it down a lot. If you don't, you'll get the assumption that you're control input is lagging really bad.

I gave boot camp a run around without too much trouble, but thanks, I'll deffinitley try that when I load it up again.
Seems like ARMA 2 is a really neat game, if I can figure out the [I]multitude[/I] of controls. I had trouble often finding the waypoint (is there an option to make it a different colour?) but other than that I found it kinda neat.
So ya, I definitley can see getting this on a daily deal.

Installed dayz commander, downloaded dayz, can't join any chernarus server because my game is out of date, any ideas?

So while I've been waiting for ArmaII CO to go on daily sale, I've been reading about servers and what not. Mainly, that the "HIVE" is currently down? Also that public servers are not very good?
So my main question I guess is, do we have a DayZ server for FP? The OP server seems to be down.
Also, if not, what servers are good for when I get this?
(Still liking ARMAII free, but damn all the fricking buttons... Is there a mod that simplifies the user interface at all?)

a ripoff of a game has used his success on a free mod to cash in on a craze with a shitty game and has made hundreds of thousands of dollars... as a modder I can totally understand why he would be upset and hurt

No, no, you misunderstand me. With all the hate directed at WarZ, I'm saying there [I]must[/I] have been a lot of idiots somehow attacking the DayZ devs (including rocket). I would hate that to.
The only thing I think may be a little bit of an over reaction is when he said it made him question whether he wanted to even be in the industry at all.

Does anyone still play on the Facepunch server or has it been deserted? I noticed that the server was still running 1.7.4.3.

DayZCommander says my Arma 2 is out of date, but I just got it off steam, how can that be?
It says it's version 100056 and wants to me update to 99515.
I couldn't find anything on google about it.
Sorry for the noob question, but I've returned to DayZ after maybe like 4 months, I got a car working with my friend and I noticed that the "Save vehicle" feature was gone, is it automatically saving now or something?
