I don't even remember how I died.
I was at an airfield and found a M24, as I was going downstairs, a bandit appeared. We locked eyes, I was scared that he was gonna kill me and take my M24. 5 seconds of looking at each other, I panic and drew my M24 and pulled the trigger. He fell to the ground, I just realized he messaged me, saying "Hi :)" right before he died. Now I feel sad and if I just waited a little longer, we could have been friends.

Shoot first say Hi later. I've met so many friendly and really helpfully people like that.
Found a very friendly guy on the Facepunch server by the name of FappR. Was looking for a weapon, and out of nowhere, I see a car speeding towards me. Try booking it into the trees because I was worried he was hostile, and he ended up pulling over and asked if I needed a ride. We ended up venturing together for around an hour.

Thinking about getting back into this game. Giving it another try. Has the attitude between players changed since about 4 months ago? Are people MORE paranoid? Are zombies still glitchy as hell and the game in general?

so we were running from stary to the Northwest airfield. Come across a crash sight and there is an L85 there.
Get to north west airfield, go into south barracks, find both an AS50 and coyote backpack. I pickthem both up. Go to north barrack to loot that as well. Friend runs into me, we both break all bones, loose allot of blood and die.

Get DayZ Commander, have it update the game to the latest beta patch:

Then, go to settings and enable both options under "Steam Options":

Also, remove any Launch Options you may have defined in Steam for ARMA2: Operation Arrowhead. You can set those in DayZ Commander > Settings > Additional Launch Parameters (like I did in the screenshot above) and it will work just fine. You don't need to add -mod=@DayZ or -mod=@DayZ_Namalsk
Done, enjoy running the game with Steam.

Because the FP Servers are notorious for having all the vehicles put in the middle of buttfuck nowhere last time I was on it which was months ago.
On a different server, I found a ATV hidden in the trees, decide to go drive it to where a friend was waiting and I ended up hitting some invisible object, going upwards really high and hitting the ground, flipping, explosions. Dead.

Make the FP namalsk server day only. Nobody plays during night anyway and its to scary to play it in darkness. :v:
Started up dayz, and headed into the facepunch server as a fresh spawn.
Go into a small shed close to electro, and find a fully green Gaz, with almost full gas.

Decide to drive up to berezino, crash horrible into a destroyed car, the wheel is missing, and about 60 zombies around me.

Whoever said that they were at the old hospital on the fp namalsk server is a dirty liar.
I had a lot of fun on this Namalsk server I was playing on. I'll try to summarize the events.
I fixed up a little blue van, and I started speaking poetically about my love for it in side chat as I drove it around without purpose. Everyone in the server threatens to kill me and take me away from my van. I get shot at by one of the hit-squads out to kill me, I escape, only to bleed out and die shortly down the road.
I respawn in a place I'm not familiar with, and I find a helicopter and an airplane near each other, both are unusable. A small truck stops on the road, probably to check out the heli, so I run out of the forest onto the road to greet them (I didn't have much on me so I didn't care if I died), I hear a URAL coming down the road, so I turn to see this thing flying at me at high speed, I get mauled, and I'm sent hundreds of feet back into the forest. Everyone laughed.
I love Day Z, even if people try to take me away from things I get attached to.
