Can rifles shoot through the tents?
also rocket replied to one of my posts on reddit, pretty neat [IMG]http://puu.sh/1KSBZ[/IMG] he managed to dodge the actual subject pretty well though ALSO: apparently nearly all items will carry infections and diseases now? and that might be made into a gameplay element ("oh god I'm dying" "here have my bloodpack" *blood is infected and kills whoever recieves it slowly*) also subscribe and comment on the subreddit if you want your voice to be heard. Rocket himself reads that shit!
I like the idea of infected stuff but I hope it does not just become a annoyance factor to the game. Having to look at everything to see if it is infected and especially food to see if I can eat it. I would hate to finally find something extremely rare to find out it is to infected to carry. Would piss me off so much.
I think once you die, your corpse should reanimate. Then to get your stuff back, you would have to kill yourself.

This would add more persistent zombies to the world meaning more lag maybe. People die all the time in dayz and the number would rise quickly. + this would be a pain in the ass for people who just killed you. Having to kill a zombie as well. Unless the zombie takes 5 - 10 minutes to awaken after player death.

Unless the zombie takes 5 - 10 minutes to awaken after player death.[/QUOTE] The amount of optimization expected from the jump to Standalone would allow for a ton of wiggle room, allowing for example a higher "spawn around players" radius for both zeds and items, so stuff like "oh there's zeds in that town, someone must be there" and other metagaming stuff would be impossible, and the world would feel a lot more alive when you find items and zeds as soon as you get out of your car.

Would be cool to have infected bullets so if the shot doesn't kill them the infection would later.
So, I got tired of waiting for the standalone and bought Arma II: Combined Operations, I'm guessing I need this thing called Play withSIX to install DayZ, right?
I hope they have dynamic lighting, it would add ALOT of depth to Nighttime. Flares, Chemlights and other light sources would be so much more useful

Poison darts? or crosbow bolts would work, hiding in the bushes you shoot someone with a poison dart, then you stalk them..
