Ironically this server is kind of softcore for me. Usually when I play vanilla I put a bunch of rules on myself (no beds, no iron armor, no enchanting above level 5, no potions, etc) but since I don't want to die I use everything in the game to stay alive. Anyone want to try to get a wither kill? I'd like to set up a branch mine area with a haste beacon for people to power mine.

Train station 4x4 Piston gate has been fixed. It was a pain in the ass, and I sadly had to lock up everything so now one can get into the mechanics of it. I made that train station for us, so lets take care of it. If you break a block, place it back. It's not rocket science.

Blazes have spawners and they don't tend to stray terribly far from them.

You can completely remove all the nether brick and replace the entire place with cobble, they'll still spawn. Magma Cubes have higher natural spawn rates in Nether Fortresses and Blazes can spawn naturally without a spawner inside Nether Fortresses. Generally you'll find them more likely to spawn on the exposed spans outside than inside, but it is still a silly place to put a path through. [editline]4th December 2012[/editline] Died by a creeper that was glitching through the grass randomly. I looked down and saw a fucking creeper head appear beneath my feet on solid grown and boom. That was disappointing.
