Max No-Relax - a hardcore minecraft server - Generation 1

[Arc Nova]

Are you brave enough to try? Will you risk your life for the treasures and ores hidden within this Ravine MineShaft? If you are, and if you are prepared to risk everything for them you are welcome to try.

Here's some directions;

1. Get to The Citadel by taking the West Highway from Spawnville.

2. Find Mine and Hybrids village of Hucherpoppen, it is surrounded by a half built StoneBrick Wall and located in the shadow of The Citadel

3. Behind My Cabin will be a large structure made entirely of Spruce Wood. Enter it, and go down the Mine.

4. Make your way down all the stairs until you get to Level 12 (The right hand side of Level 12 not the left.) there will be a sign.

5. Continue down this long stretch until you come to a sign that reads "ArcPulsion Ravine" Enter it.

The ravine is large in itself, the abandon mineshaft is at the very top of the ceiling. It won't be hard to miss what with all the warning signs. You'll have to make your own way up as I was forced to seal off the main entrance due to the abundance of mobs. Goodluck if you attempt this quest!

I have conquered the ravine and mineshaft! Living in caves my whole existence allowed me to traverse them quickly and find the spot where all others have died... sadly there was no loot there, only the murdering zombie scum holding onto his ill gotten goods. I killed him and got back a diamond sword, iron pants and iron boots, which I put into a chest outside the spruce building. RIP to those who have fallen prey to this dreadful ravine.

Hmm interesting, according to your map The Ravine is directly under the bridge I have built connecting to Valleyhold.

There may be spots of the mineshaft/ravine you have missed, the shafts seem to overlap eachother, going up and down and tend to split as well hopefully all is lit up now. Regardless congratulations!!

Yeah I didn't fully explore it because once I found the spot I just got out of there fast, there were so many creepers just appearing out of thin air, but when you guys respawn I am all for fully lighting it up and making it somewhat safe!

I would fix it, but isnt there another Minecraft update coming soon? Don't want to update all that stuff just to have it break in a few days.

I also read they added a daylight sensor block. All those solar power stations we made :(

and a TON of other stuff.

When the update comes out, we should have a redstone workshop on the server. I want to learn some of these things!

In fact, I think most redstone things might actually break from this update.

It seems like there is no planned additions to word generation, minus the nether having a new ore. I don't think this warrants a world reset. BUT as I said long ago, if a major update introduces drastic generation changes, I will reset (I will save the old map of course, possibly important sections in a historical district)

Bury and hide your chests.

It's what I do. Even after the locks came about, I kept my most valuables hidden away under the dirt.

Which I would have done, but seeing as how there was a perfectly convenient mod that protected all of my valuables without the task of having to dig every time I want to access my diamonds, I had decided to use it, not expecting it to break and have my hours and hours of mining stripped from me (No strip mining pun intended)
