I wish I could find my original Tropico disc.
It's pretty cheap on steam.

My construction workers are all lazy bastards. Can I personally execute them?

No.
No.
Well that's not very realistic.
When you place like 10 buildingprojects, they won't do anything :argh:
They have to go home to eat and sleep. Employ more construction workers.
I just turned on the radio and thought I heard "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MOOOOOOOOOOOORNIN TROPICO!!!':ohdear:
Dammit I can't get past that mission where I need 65 happyness, my people have free appartments and they still decide to be a damn hobo in a shack on the other side of the goddamn island. I think the game bugged out :/
And I got invaded by hobos :ohdear:
"A ship docked bringing 34 new immigrants to tropico"
In the first ship of the damn game, It just wouldn't stop even if I used an immigration office to shut the doors :byodood:
Creepy bugs.
Bought this game a few days ago, it's so much fun. Only been playing sandbox, and I managed to get a fairly rich island by exporting huge amounts of tobacco and cigars.
This game looks effin awesome.
Didn't play Tropico yet, might as well give this a shot.
Los Guerillos, or somthing like that is a nice map.
After making two or three prosperous islands it gets kinda boring.
Yeah a bit. But you have to set yourself goals. Makes it more fun.
This game kicks so much ass.
And for everyone saying that its terrible on consoles it runs exactly the same as the PC version and plays just aswell. I have both of the versions. One for my laptop and one for my xbox
Tropico 3 runs fine, but then it'll freeze, where you can still Pan the camera around, but the game itself just doesn't work anymore :(
Kind of like you pause it, except you can't click on anything either
Just picked up Tropico during the sale; and it's pretty entertaining.
It's fun to overcome the odds of an island that just seems to hate you.
Is it worth dishing out the 10 quid to get this game? I'm really not sure whether to buy it or not. Just realised it was on sale today, and I haven't got the time to play the demo...
So I covered my island with oil derrics and pumps to ge the money flowing and now all of the enviornmentalists are pissed at me.
I arrested all of them and planted trees around my prison
So Tropico 3 is on sale for $13 bucks, 2 weeks after I paid $40... God damnit
Anyway, a couple shots of my island

You know you're a horrible dictator if statues are trying to get out of dodge
A 3 headed llama attacked El Presidente's hat today.
Ugh, I provide my citizens with free rent apartments and they decide to go and build a shanty town right next to them.
Ugh, I provide my citizens with free rent apartments and they decide to go and build a shanty town right next to them.
I don't understand why they do that it ticks me off tbh.
I liked this game but imho, Tropico 1 was better.
I don't like it that when you get invaded you can't even fight back , it's just ''You got invaded , Game over'

Because they've got nukes and you don't.
