FFS, My military overthrew me because they wanted a Armory but my builders where taking their own sweet time building it.

Try to stay ahead of these things. I'm always building a church and then the religious faction gets angry at me for not having one, so I learned to build them earlier

Also to make things build faster have more construction offices, have presidente visit construction sites, and set the building to the highest priority.
I tried to create a communistic hellhole, but then 100000 rebels nuked my palace.
Still in 1970 and I already have every kind of industry going, making a fuckton of money, even with the best services available to my people, military, etc...
Guess I'll go for tourism now, too much money to spend.

Set the building to high priority and make sure to place your avatar at the site.
I'm going to play some Tropico 1, I like the graphics better.
That reminds me, should I get Tropico Reloaded on Steam?

Yes.
Yes.
Let me phrase it differently:
What pros and cons do the original Tropico games have when compared to 3, besides lesser graphics?

I think that should be obvious.

Please stop being such a silly twit and be serious for once.

I am being serious.
Bump for great justice because of a question I need answered.
If I already own a copy of Tropico 3 on steam, would I need to get Absolute Power on steam or will a retail copy work too?
Steam only

Lol. Communist societies are already hellholes, though.
I'm running into a bit of a snag in the campaign. My citizens are unhappy with the amount of liberty they have (or should I say, the lack thereof) and are thus rebelling. What can I do to increase their liberty or solve this?
Bear in mind, this is on the first mission (which makes it even more embarrassing) so I can't make certain buildings.

Restart.
Uhuh, any way to strengthen my army so it can easily crush the rebels?
It means that no goods were collected last month. But it's not unusual for a farm to have the sign over it's head for the first year since they are busy plowing 'n' stuff.
From the first page, yet I don't know how you fix it.

My guess is that you don't, you just wait for the crops to grow again.
Fuck, this game needs a more in-depth tutorial.

Build a teamsters office. Problem solved.
I can't run Tropico 3, are the first two any good, or should I just get this for 360
Don't get it for the 360, it's not that great for consoles, also the graphics kind of lagg and look worse.
The first Tropico is kickass, really good game. Although the second one sucks. It's just shit.
Does the first one span many timelines like the third one does?

Not to mention when you are making a road to a hill and it fucks up the terrain so you can't
