The Visual Novel Megathread: Reading till your eyes bleed - Games

Hey, sorry to intrude but after a while of googling I got only dead links. Anyone [I]got a working download[/I] for [B][I]Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai![/I][/B] installer and an English patch for it? I only found one site that had links that just didn't work and I can't find the installer file anywhere. The real thing is in Japanese only and over a 100 dollars so that's out of the window. I don't think it's 100% translated yet. "Majikoi: Miyako @ ~50% translated" Miyako is the final route they have yet to translate, so they're almost done. So I suggest waiting for the full translation. When the full patch is out, erogedownload will probably update relatively fast. You need Daemon tools, but only Daemon Tools Lite. It creates a virtual drive you can mount your ISOs on. No need to burn actual CDs or DVDs. For installing, just mount with daemon tools and launch the installer/setup program from the virtual drive with applocale or with japanese computer locale.

Actually, I'm kind of disappointed at the ending and now I kind of want to play Majikoi! S, problem is that thing doesn't have an english patch as far as I know.

I don't know if it's just my internet acting up or if the page 404'd but I can't view it right now. All I know is her optional H-Scene that you get after the good end is ridiculously long. It's like 7 hours of EHH EHH EHH FONDLE ME YAMATO

Also, I'm pretty sure the patch you're referring to is only for the trial which doesn't include Majikoi S's Momoyo route. Also Yandere has been down for a while now, their IRC channel has a mediafire link to their files that can be downloaded but the site owner is missing and they're looking for a new one. As far as I know I just got the ending where they kiss by the river and then it cuts to credits that are black screen + audio only. Is it after the credits or something?

I'm thinking of the first game. If you get a girl's good end then it leaves all the H-stuff out and in an optional little feature in the extras menu.

One would expect Momoyo to be durable as hell even if she is a [sp]virgin[/sp], but nope, her massive life energy or ki does nothing when it comes to stripping and all day long banging. I found it actually a bit hilarious that Yamato was some sort of divine sex machine whereas she was bitching about sensitivity and stuff. I'd understand if the attitude change from badass to submissive/obedient was in a much tamer effect and a more playful tone but it's taken to a huge exaggeration. Still, it wasn't all that bad because [sp]catgirls.[/sp] Too bad the translation by Yandere Trans. is incomplete, Kurisu's route quickly turns into moonspeak. Even ignoring all that, It's a decent VN and I kinda liked it excluding the bit off-putting ending scene with Momoyo and Yamato's 200 gallon sperm bank testicles with endless supply :v:

Still waiting eagerly for Miyako's route to be translated if only to see what'll actually happen. Chances are it'll be the same as Momoyo's route but part of me suspects the entire thing will just be Miyako going completely batshit insane for Yamato. Don't know, I'd rather see Chris's route translated, Miyako just doesn't seem as interesting. Also I'd want to see what the "true" ending is, from what I gather it's what the anime was based upon, what with the triplet sisters and the criminal fella.

Anime takes off where Momoyo's route ends but with a twist. They're like two different continuities.

I've gotten that name from a lot of people as being the [I]true[/I] route, and I picked Momoyo first, but the anime ends up with him getting rejected another time whereas the good ending she accepts. Of course you could just pick it up and kind of realize what's going but the VN pretty much ends at the same time as the anime starts, making it kind of a sequel-kind of series. Not sure if it's canon, though. I'd wait until Majikoi S is translated and then continue Momoyo's route there to see what actually is going on in the house.

I finished Clannad and After Story for the very first time today, and was fortunate enough to not get any of it spoiled for me before the ending. Dear God. I don't think any form of media has touched me right in the feels as much as that VN has. It took pretty much all summer to read, but the true ending was worth the thousands of lines of text I had to read to reach it.

Well, finally got around to finishing Riho's route in Deardrops. Damn, that was amazing. Once it really got going, I couldn't stop reading. Like, I didn't even eat any lunch because I didn't want to stop reading so now I'm hungry because I haven't eaten anything in the last 10 hours. Are the other routes as good or what? I don't really feel like going back for Rimu or Kanade, and from what I hear Yayoi's route is really short, so I might just call this one done.

Started Steins;Gate. Dunno when I am going to keep playing it, but I sorta fucked up my sleep for tonight and I don't wanna play MechWarrior. [B]E:[/B] Any order I should do the routes in?

At certain points however, it's possible to branch off of the normal route and get an ending that corresponds to a certain character within the next 2 hours. My suggestion is to just keep playing the normal (true) ending, and once you finish that you can do the alternate endings.

Maybe I'm the only one interested in the "Yosuga no Sora" eroge but if anyone else is there is a translation going on at the moment.
