How many routes are there in KK: Curtain Call? Someone on VNDB said that the first story [sp]is linear, though there are multiple decisions[/sp]. Speaking of which, I just completed it and started the second one.
Finished the final route on steins;gate and started playing FS/N, Seems good enough but i was wondering, Is there no way to look at CG in-game? I don't see an option on the menu. I'm still very early in if that counts.

Does the game not have a normal main menu like steins;gate? I can't seem to find it. The only on i see is the pause menu.
You are still on the several hour long prologue The main menu is accessible after that
Just completed it and figured that out. Didn't feel like it was several hours long.
You get the same ending everytime, the choices makes no difference.
I see. That sure saved me some time, though it would be nicer if there was more diversity in the story.
alchemy meister is like the best thing ever BECAUSE FUCKING YUELA IS MY WAIFU [editline]17th August 2012[/editline] AND I MAKE SO MUCH CASH IM FLOATING IN SWAG
According to VNDB, Kirari and Honda from KK make an appearance in Deardrops, can anyone confirm it?
According to VNDB, Kirari and Honda from KK make an appearance in Deardrops, can anyone confirm it?
Dunno who Honda is, but Kirari makes an appearance towards the end of Riho's route. [editline]20th August 2012[/editline] Wait, is Honda this faggot? Yeah, he shows up in Riho's route too. All he does is get drunk and whine about some bitch he wants to nail, though.
So apparently someone thought Minecraft wasn't enough like a visual novel, so they fixed that. for all your creeper dating needs! http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1300071-132ssplanmob-talker-beta-101/

All he does is get drunk and whine about some bitch he wants to nail, though.
Yup, that sound just like him. All right then, Deardrops is the next VN I'm going to read, because I have this bad feeling that KK: Curtain Call will end very soon. Thanks for the information anyways.
I've finished KK: Curtain Call last night, so it's time to write down my thoughts like I always do. First of all, a thing which sounds kind of weird: it's definitely the worst VN I've ever played. It's fun and it carries over the style of the first Kira Kira. Why the worst? Because it took me only 4 days to finish it. KS took me about a month, while KK and Clannad - both over 2 months. So my opinion is dependable only on length. On the other hand, I think I've been spending a lot more time on reading, so that's probably why. Apart from it being short, what I didn't like is that [sp]I didn't get to see how the relationship between Miru and Murakami ended.[/sp] Quite obviously I liked it, etc. I also wanted to mention is that when I realized that Shikanosuke is Maejima's first name, not the other way around, my reaction was pretty much like this: Oh, and I'm starting to read Deardrops today.
did they honestly take you that long? KS took me a week, KK took about 2 and clannad took 3 [editline]20th August 2012[/editline] I wish I could find one that lasts me 2 months. I wish I could find one that lasts me 5 years

I guess it was just my expectations because Overdrive made it.
So, I started unpacking the game files for the VNs on my computer to check out the sprites and backgrounds by themselves. Man, what is up with mainstream visual novels using much less efficient storage methods for art and such than freeware ones? For example, let's compare Deardrops to Analogue: A Hate Story: Riho's sprites are 97 separate .bmp files, that are all 800x600 and take up 177MB total. She has about 20 different expressions and 8 different outfits. Hyun-ae's sprites are 137 separate .png files, that are all 650x1300 and take up less than 6MB total. She has about 70 different expressions and 5 different outfits. Step up your game, professional VN devs.

Kazushi and his buddies are fed up with their bad grades and boring high school life. Just when their sex crave was ready to burst out, they found out about the exchange student program to a girls high school in isolated island: A ticket to ride for sex!!
Quite obviously I wouldn't expect anything incredible from it. And yet for some reason people on vndb give it mostly 7's and 8's. [editline]21st August 2012[/editline]
So, I started unpacking the game files for the VNs on my computer to check out the sprites and backgrounds by themselves. Gonna do Deardrops soon (because music) and then stick my nose in some Fate/Stay Night because Archer is badass and Saber is too pro.
Just finished Riho's path in Deardrops. Pretty good I guess. What are the other paths like?
Just finished Riho's path in Deardrops. Pretty good I guess. What are the other paths like?
Yayoi is short as fuck, which is really sad, as I liked her. Rimu shouldn't be bothered with. Never did that other lady.
started on captive market. cant wait to rape me some elf girls.
the fact that there is a second Monster Girl Quest scares me because I'm going to have to play it when I finish the first
the fact that there is a second Monster Girl Quest scares me because I'm going to have to play it when I finish the first
There's a third one coming out since the second part ends with a cliffhanger, so you'll be able to prolong your suffering even more once it gets released and translated.
oh good lord
