Oh wow. I totally forgot about Lupin III.

I need to go watch it again.
(For those who don't know, it's a pretty old, but good, manga/anime)

Doing some work with chrome's auto-translate feature, I eventually came across this:
https://shop.digi-goods.com/item.php?id=785
It's about $52 US currently. However in order to buy it you'd need to make an account, but they do accept most major credit cards. I'm not sure where they ship though. Haven't looked that far.
If you use chrome's auto-translate feature, and hover over the buttons, it's pretty easy to tell what they do. For most of the site, yellow/orange means "continue".
There may be other places you can get it however. Possibly even an even more english-friendly alternative.

... I spied this wonderful creation in the background of the narration.
now i want to read a VN that's centered around a sass-talking snowman who doesn't take shit from nobody, with that guy up there as the star. nothing even has to happen and i'd probably still read it anyway.

No.
yeah tbh that's extortionate pricing, i looked closely to see if it was some kind of bundle pack or deal
[editline]2nd February 2012[/editline]
you'd think for that kind of price tag they'd throw in all the music collections too

Does this game count as a visual novel?

If so, I strongly reccomend it
STEINS;GATE is the goddamn shit.
Just sayin'
Finished KS. Was pretty good, I ended up getting into the Emi arc with the decisions I made but somehow I got the good ending.
(shouldn't have to warn you. but DON'T CLICK ANY OF THIS if you haven't read G-Senjou no Maou)
Thoughts on the underlying plot so far: (obviously spoils everywhere)
[sp]Judging from one of the earliest possible moments I can remember in the story, that green-haired kid (i suck at names) had a conversation with kyouzuke that touched no the topic of "Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde" a little. Further into the story (however far I may be), headaches appear to be a common plotpoint throughout. So far i've only come to two conclusions:
1. Azai is Maou, but obviously only subconciously, and possibly brought about from his deep suppressed emotional issues as touched upon by his therapist. Although, this seems like such an obvious answer, as if the writers are almost daring you to take this method of thinking in order to lead you on.
2. Azai has a long lost brother, who is Maou.[/sp]
HAHAHAHAHAHAH
[sp]Sooooo i guess my wild shot in the dark #2 is correct then. They really played that "kyouzuke (fuck spelling) is just mentally ill" card for a long time. I just started chapter 5 I think? I don't know, haru is in the channel area getting strangled by her brother. I even made that wild guess looong before they even hinted at kyou having siblings.[/sp]

Sounds like you have four more arcs to go.

RIP Cing. :(
I have Hotel Dusk sitting in my closet with my abandoned DS, along with Another Code: Two Memories (Trace Memory in the US).
Fun fact: Hotel Dusk and Trace Memory both have sequels that were not released in the US but were in the PAL regions. Why? Because Nintendo is fun by a bunch of cocks.

Ah darn, I knew I forgot something about that GIF.
The FMV's are great avatar material.
Finally I found a use for my dusty DS.

I need to play Last Window some day. Hotel Dusk was one of my first DS games and I loved it.
Ace Attorney; Justice For All Case 3 is an UTTER mindfuck.
Prepare to think CRAZY, this case is probably the toughest one you'll ever experience.
I still have to finish Trials and Tribulations, damnit. Then again I've been spoiled about the final case so I don't feel very motivated.

I need to play those, specially Hotel Dusk's sequel, I really want more of that "A-Ha music video" artstyle.

Trials and Tribulations is the best game in the series.
I'll write a summary for 999 and Ever 17 when I can, I'll play some more through Ever 17 before that though.

Oh wow, I remember playing Another Code, it was my 2nd ever DS game. I've yet to play Hotel Dusk though, I've had for ages but never have bothered to try it.
Just going to throw out a recommendation for Planetarian. Nice little post-apocalyptic story you can easily read in one evening (it's only 2-4 hours long).
Wasn't there one that that was translated and released commercially recently? Seem to remember hearing about it but I can't remember the name
Kara no Shoujo is the only thing that comes to mind, but that was released over half a year ago.

Haven't Finished it yet but damn hell it was good. It was one of the games in my DS that surprised me so much. Also [sp] that freaking switch thing where you have to use both fingers/thumbs it was so cool yet made me feel so dumb because it literally took me 2 hours + walkthrough just to figure it out.[/sp]
9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors
[thumb]http://www.aksysgames.com/999/files/wallpaper/wallpaper_cast_1024x768.jpg[/thumb]
Developed by: Chunsoft
Released: November 16, 2010 for the DS, no PC release
Length: 10 - 20 hours
Erotic content: No
Genre: Puzzle, mystery, thriller
Synopsis: Nine people have been kidnapped by a mysterious man called Zero and forced to participate in a survival game known as the "Nonary Game". Each one has a bracelet numbered 1–9, which they must use to pass through doors numbered 1–9, to reach the exit before 9 hours run out and the ship in which they are sinks. Various puzzles must be solved in order to advance through the ship and reach the exit, while uncovering the mysteries behind the Nonary Game.
Opinion: A fantastic game/VN; immersive story, brilliant puzzles, great characters and a lot of mystery. There are 6 different endings, 3 bad, 2 neutral and one good. The bad endings are a little creepy, I'm sure you'll get a nice spine tingling sensation if you get them. To achieve the good ending you must get one of the neutral endings, so the game cannot be completed properly without playing through at least twice. However there are a lot of different choices, and each choice can put you down a different route, meaning different puzzles and a different story. 999 is one of my favourite DS games and I highly recommend it.
Alert: There is minor violence and gore as you can witness people dying.
Does this count as erotic content?
In case you don't quite get it: [sp]She's worried about getting wet because the lift goes down, and the boat is flooded in the lower sections[/sp]
Umineko epilogue has been TLed- seems to be a couple of interesting things there including [sp]Confirming that Shannon and Kannon are the same person[/sp]

Ah I remember watching it
I remember it being a total mess
Just finished You's arc of Ever17, all I can say is wow that is some nice writing although its my first route i'm already pretty beat. Need to do all the other routes though to get the good ending. And just like KS the main menu music hits me emotionally too.
[sp] KID Y U ALWAYS TALKING/CHASING COCO?[/sp]
