The Visual Novel Megathread: Reading till your eyes bleed - Games

I started reading Deus Machina Demonbane, I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's an interesting setting but I feel it's rushing a bit, and the art is somehow simultaneously good and awful. Cthulhu mythos mixed with Japanese mechas isn't something I ever thought would be a thing though.

Anyone interested in the Yosuga no Sora (Aka the incest VN) the Sora route is now fully translated. So now they're roughly 45% done.

I just want Majikoi. Miyako is 70% Aka fuuuck this wait. Until then I really don't got anything to read.

Whats your source, vntls says 50 percent but that is since sep 22. Also has anybody tried the Grisaia no Kajitsu demo? Its a good couple hours and my first impression was a character similar to the protag in G Senjou. (Witty pessimistic badass) Demos a good several hours of gameplay and dat cg+dialogue is actually really well-done. Also if you liked Fate/stay Night, read Type Moon's other VN, Tsukihime.

Apparently Maji De Watashi No Koishinasai! S came out and no one told me? I've been waiting a year for this.

I finished Deus Machina Demonbane's main route, and it was fucking awesome, great action VN if a little cheesy at times. The good endingof the route [sp] has you beat a fucking god and rewrite time so none of the games events happened aside from the MC remembering everything, and reuniting with the heroine/necronomicon who also remembers.[/sp] But however, the so called "normal" ending IMO is far better. [sp]The same time rewriting happens, but instead of going back to earth. you stay in the outer realms and become a badass human god who continues to kick fucking ass against eldritch abominations[/sp] Good game, I quite enjoyed it.

Rewrite is 80% translated now, hopefully we'll see an early 2013 release!

I had highly doubted that G-Senjou no Maou would be that good. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. Finished all the routes within a few days. Seriously crazy shit. I wonder how Tomoyo After will be in comparison? I've had Clannad on my laptop for a while, but I haven't managed to get very far. I'm thinking of restarting and doing what I would normally do (as the OP suggests), but I have no clue how to delete the save data. (I know I have like a zillion files to choose from, but they're so disorganized that I want to start over.) Is there a directory or something where I can find the data?

I can't get Clanned to work, no matter what I do the text is missing and clicking any part of the screen crashes the game.

The goddamn option just aint there.[/QUOTE] Haven't seen the option myself either, just type in applocale and press enter in search, with the program you select the .exe you want to use and usually it'll select the correct locale automatically. Keep in mind this doesn't work for everything, but that mostly only counts with installing.
