Although they're not really routes, you just follow the main story and you have a chance to branch off into a 'route' which will usually take about an hour to complete or something. Every once in a while (at the end of a chapter) Okabe gets the option to send a D-Mail. A few chapters correspond with certain girls (6 for Suzuha, 7 for Feyris etc etc), so when you choose not to send the D-Mail at the end of their chapter, you get their ending. If you do send it, however, you'll progress along the true route that was portrayed in the anime.

Okabe thinks way too highly of Kurisu's body. "Her delicate shoulders" "Pretty hands without any manicures" Is this the same Okabe that I know and love from the anime? :v:

I finished the true route of steins;gate in about 20 hours, even after getting a side ending by mistake.

I remember not being able to send Suzuhas d-mail, which made me mad because I thought that every text message before that actually made a difference (even if they weren't important!) It kinda made me quit because it took hours and hours to get there, and I didn't have any backup save.

can someone provide me with the most up-to-date english patch for Majikoi? I really want to try it but I don't know how far it's been translated/which patch is the most updated

I know this probably isn't the best place to ask, but would anybody happen to know of any tutorials that teach you how to translate visual novels? I'd like to go ahead and use my growing japanese vocabulary to translate some things if I ever get the time, it's easier to read it in english then to read it in japanese and spend all that time in my head translating .

I finished the last route in MGiTP yesterday. I thought it was a great visual novel. It was really funny, the story was entertaining, the artwork was nice, and the characters were fun and likeable. I give it a 9 out of 10. I really wish the fandisk was translated though. I'd like to know what happens after Irina's and Ell's endings.

Wow, I was reading Chaos;Head with the RC2 patch applied when I got to Chapter 7, and while reading it I noticed that it skipped a part of conversation automatically. I saved it to another slot and restarted to look for a fix (which I didn't find) and when I restarted I couldn't load my saves due to another bug. Time to skip through chapters 1-7...

noone warned you you cant save in chapter 7? because that is in the translation readme i think.

Also, new S;G VN confirmed, let's hope we'll get to actually enjoy it before 2015.

Finally finished Chaos;Head. Is it just me or did it feel completely different from Steins;Gate (and Robotics;Notes from what I've seen)? It just felt less scientifically explainable and more "it's paranormal and it works because it does". Also, how didn't anyone notice the [sp]massive earthquakes and ensuing deaths? I never hear them mentioned in anything after C;H[/sp]

I've decided. Fuck waiting for Miyako route. I'm gonna read what's translated of majikoi now. May the world suffer for my impatience.
