What do you guys think of "Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo", I may be biased because it's only the third VN that I've ever read, but I think it's fucking hilarious but also has an interesting backstory and super fucking interesting characters on the side. I still haven't finished it, just began the second girl's arc last night.

I thought it was pretty good, it could get somewhat boring at some points but it really starts shining towards the end.
rewrite is now 95.7% translated
i can taste it

Fate/Stay Night maybe, I thought all 3 routes were good though the Fate route was a bit weaker then the others.

It wasn't THAT bad, I mean if you compare it to the anime trainwreck it's a goddamn masterpeice.
I thought it was good on it's own but compared to Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feel yeah it's pretty bad.

I think it's better than G-Senjou no Maou. Has better side stories and really gets good at 3rd arc. G-sen had too many weird plotholes and stuff.

It's not graphic I just didn't like it.
Saya no Uta is actually a really great VN with an amazing atmosphere, but it can be quite unsettling at times. Definitely worth it. It's not that long either, so getting all 3 endings probably won't take to longer than 10-15 hours.
Could someone just give me the link to download a visual novel? Any visual novel. Just the first one that comes to mind or your current one. I don't have any serious preference so I'll trust your taste if you'd be so kind.
I've only read a handful. Fate/Stay/Night, Katawa are the two really big ones.

Well, having now finished Sharin no Kuni, it's probably one of my favourite pieces of writing that I've ever read. Everything I said previously still applies, and while it does drag a little in one or two places (I'm thinking of [sp]When you gotta get sachi to paint in her arc[/sp] and [sp]in that flashback after natsumi doesn't help you up and you fall into the valley[/sp]) it's still fucking amazing.
It really sucks that only Houzuki's route is translated in the fandisc, but I suppose the others are just epilogues, so whatever.
