The most important thing on a VN is the writing, so focus on that and leave the whole character design aspect a bit apart until you have the VN story more or less ready

Before running the shortcut (which will probably now be in your start menu next to where you found applocale), make sure that syarin.exe isn't running. If it isn't, it should run perfectly. However, make sure that you install the east asian language-packs (look up how to for win7), otherwise it won't run. And then of course, moving the english translation patch into the game folder. Oh, and if you're expecting anything like G-Senjou, you'll be sadly mistaken. While it's made well (it seems to be using the same software), it's an entirely different writing-style. It has a lot of humor in it though, so it's a great break from all of the extremely [i]intensely[/i] sad stories i've been reading.

Done with Sora's route on Ever17. Ending showered me with feels, mild feels but feels nonetheless.

It's so sad that I currently have no time to play visual novels. Mind you, if I start a visual novel, I can't stop it until I have finished at least one path. That probably means 8-14 hours of non stop reading. :v:
