So I caved and got Umineko. I've not been playing it for long, but I wanted to know what the level of interactivity was. I sort of took it for granted that there would be interactivity when I guess I shouldn't... do I actually try and solve the mystery or am I just reading a book with music and pictures? Also, holy crap all the breasts in this game are huge.

Also this character relationship is a little creepy. It's basically just HEY THERE BATTLER TOTALLY GONNA SCREW YOUR DAD LATER HUEHUEHUE LOL DON'T DO IT TOO HARD HIS TEETH MIGHT FALL OUT I don't care how relaxed my relationship might be with my step mother, I do not want to hear that. So it's basically like Shizune's arc in Katawa Shoujo?

Otherwise, some of them are simply impossible to aquire in a legal manner, since they are not sold on the internet or to Credit card other than Japanese. I won't link to any because it's unclear weither one is impossible to acquire or not. Clannad, for an example. I can't buy it on the internet, as it's only sold in DVD-format. (Anywhere I've searched, even on their official website.)

But thanks for the suggestion I guess I'll try that one. Though "A full length visual novel about the erosion of privacy, gay drama, young sexuality, and the perils of modern online life for a high school literature class. " doesn't really sound like my thing. I'm not looking for eroge ones in particular :V

The problem is that they aren't widely distributed to other places in the world because they are only written in Japanese and the devs don't care much about translating their whole VN. Katawa Shoujo sort of really made a difference by offering a pretty good visual novel that can be read by a few languages and distributed for free all around the world.

I'm not sure what qualifies Maya to help Phoenix apart from being the sister of a lawyer (with spooky powers), but I like the dynamic between the two.
