The anime follows Nagisa's route which iirc is the "canon" route. It's one main path for the entire series which is two seasons but it does deal with the other arcs as well in the first season. It's very well done and is packed with feels, especially season 2. I'd watch it no matter which one you decide to do first.

I dunno the clannad anime didn't seem very good to me at all

It's moreso the fact that it happens at all after the whole fuss they kicked up building her up emotionally then just use her as a comedic foil

they had to keep her in a bit though, as she did play a big part in the second season. if they'd totally ignored her until second season, people might have forgotten about her.

For the last few days I've been trying to complete Steins;Gate 100%. Just now I was doing Kurisu's route but even following the walkthrough didn't get me the right ending. Maybe I did a mistake at some point. That would mean I would have to start from the beginning just to get everything right. Spent the last two days playing Steins;Gate. Amazing game, got the [sp]Suzuah, Ruka, Faris, and Mayuri[/sp] endings. Anyone have a video of the true ending or a save file right before it? I really don't feel like re-playing this huge game just to change my replies to the text messages.

After that post I realised I could just load a save from Chapter 4 and save time (the walkthrough tells you where to save). ¨ Then after going through all the text again I realised I had done everything right, there just was a mistake in the walkthrough. It didn't say the few last interactions were in Chapter 10 so I assumed I had to get them in Chapter 9.

I'll write how I want thanks, and I am angry because complaining about there being too much of a character in THEIR OWN ARC is quite frankly pretty dumb and makes no sense in my eyes. Also, Nagisa isn't the focus nearly as much as you're making it out. Sounds to me like you just don't like Nagisa so you're throwing it under the bus.

I didn't like the fact that they added her in scenes she originally wasn't in as an excuse for them to do every route. Of course, this is just my opinion and the only reason I'm telling you not to get angry is precisely because of that! Let's avoid Ad Hominem.
