The Visual Novel Megathread: Reading till your eyes bleed - Games

I keep forgetting to set my computer location to Japan so I can never play Majikoi, then I go and do something else and forget about it. I'm never going to finish it at this rate.

I'm never going to finish it at this rate.[/QUOTE] I've never really seen any negative effects of just leaving in on Japanese location except that backslashes in the explorer turn into Yen symbols, well they do for me anyway.

Looking for a new VN, what would you guys recommend of the ones from the OP, and any VN that's not there. Ever 17 is one I know, and is going to play later. Saving it ya' know. The VNs I've played is so far, Saya no Uta G-Senjou no Maou Katawa Shoujou

Going to try Fate/Stay Night. I have put Umineko on my list. Is there anything I should think of, like a patch or so?

Mirror moon for FS/N tl and Witch hunt for Umineko tl.

You have the option to leave them in. I would know :v:

Really liking it now when I have gotten used to how it looks and reads. I like all the small features they have, like when saving it automatically moves the mouse to the different buttons. It's nothing necessary, but I still like that it's there.

woah it's been a while since I checked out this thread. I'd like to get started on a new VN, are there any that have quite a lot of choices in the dialogue and stuff? I know none are going to have a huge amount but still.

But not all of those choices are like "I should say this" Most are "Where should I go now" Still a p. good VN though.

I was thinking of watching Steins;gate, but I was also planning on playing the VN at some point. If I watch the anime will it spoil the VN?

Recently I've tried continuing Clannad as I didn't feel an urge to continue after playing it for the first time. I'm about 3 hours in and it's actually not bad; just having hard time getting over few things.
