Anyway, it's been determined before that unless the VN has unparalleled gameplay or some other interesting gameplay feature, it needs erotic content. Sometimes, they just tack it on because they have to or they fear their VN wouldn't sell to begin with.

If you focus on one heroine, then the sex scenes are waaayyyy less than if you go all harem gigolo man. Fairly standard fantasy plot, nothing really bad about it. Strategy sections are just "Choose formation, choose what to do, like attack or defend or ranged attack" It's Easy and fairly entertaining if you use a guide. I'd imagine it'll be annoying as heck if you're winging it.
