The Visual Novel Megathread: Reading till your eyes bleed - Games

Apparently Kouko Ibuki from Clannad and Akiko Minase from Kanon have the same voice actress. I knew I have heard that voice before when I've heard Akiko for the first time, but I realized where after like 9 or 10 episodes.

All right, I'll give it a go. On another note, nobody in here has mentioned Shuffle!, has anyone ever played it? I think the story is more adventure type then not, and I don't mean regular VN, but the whole story in my opinion was to pick the girl to be with, become king of the gods, king of the demons, or a regular human. 5 heroines, I guess 1 is a loli. There's [sp]2 sex scenes for each character, one has 2 1/2 because of a split personality depending on the personality you choose. [/sp] It's a fun game to play since I found it rather short to complete 100%. there's nothing hidden that I know of. Umineko is now upon my growing list of VN's.

Finished the Steins;Gate anime some time ago and I'm now around chapter 5 in the VN, and I have some questions. What happens if you make some wrong choices (not following a flowchart)? Do you just skip some chapters? Does it end before you get to a certain chapter? Also, is Chaos;Head worth reading after finishing Steins;Gate? I know there's almost no connections between the two, but vndb gave it ~8.0 and the story seems fairly interesting, but I'm still not sure.

Just completed my first path on Steins;gate, got the Faris end. Not really satisfied with the ending of the path, so I'll probably replay it with a walkthrough later. Starting on Monmusu 2 now, can't wait to jerk of to being molested by hot sea cucumbers.

Yeah I had already known that at one point you got to do that since you know, Alice blatantly tells you all the while wanting MOAR FOOD. It's a good thing you don't need to get money in the game, since the MC has a seemingly infinite coin pouch or else I'd be one broke MC.

it's not technically a visual novel in the strictest sense but it's definitely eroge I'm playing rapelay and enjoying it

Could anyone recommend me a good VN which would make me cry, like Clannad or Katawa Shoujo? I already know Kanon isn't dramatic enough, so there's no need to suggest this one.
