no wai also I can read about 10 hiragana, where is the best place to go to learn more?
http://www.realkana.com/
some vns aren't even vns. some are just hentai. i've got mixed feelings about this, I kinda want to read. buuuut my thing says otherwise
A hentai can be a VN [editline]5th July 2012[/editline] As long as there is text/story in it I think it counts as a "VN". I really hate the term VN
I usually refer to only NVLs as VNs and the ADVs and weirdo VN/RPG hybrids get called their respective names.
Personally while I know some phrases from hearing in Japanese (only because of VN's), I can't really understand anything what's written in it.

It's a tough language to learn and I think I'd need more of an incentive than just VNs to learn it. I'll stick to translation patches for now. Also, finally finished an arc of Majikoi. It's an excellent VN and I actually think it's quite considering they kept all the H-Scenes to a seperate epilogue accessible via the extras menu, as it means if you want to play through what is actually a high-quality and funny VN without your game moaning at you you don't have to.
It's a tough language to learn adn I think I'd need more of an incentive than just VNs to learn it.
Like becoming a translator or moving to japan(lol).
moving to japan(lol).
Personally I would like to live in Japan, but it's way too late to decide about that. I didn't save money for the entire life (notice I live in Poland, one does not simply get rich here) and I didn't study Japanese since very young age. There's also the cultural barrier, there are many things I would have hard times getting used to.
Been playing Analogue: A Hate Story. Must say, for $5, I have been getting one hell of a story out of it. Although I am curious as to how I can get the [sp]Harem[/sp] ending since [sp]You kind of have to disable one of the AI cores in order for there to be enough power that the PSS can run.[/sp]

Don't look at any of those questions she gives you, I think that's the trigger for the reactor scene.[/sp] You may have to do that on a new save though.
Ah. Well how was I supposed to figure that out :v:
Yeah it got me the first time too, Didn't know I could use it to look up hidden logs.

I had family living there because he married a Japanese woman, they had to move out since the pay was so lousy and even though he had been to multiple universities and he could speak fluent Japanese, he wasn't able to get anything better.
As long as I can have my "japanese goods" exported to where I live, I'm fully content with staying where I live at the moment. I don't really like Japan as a country (How schools work, the amount of people etc.), but I like what it produces.
Japan would be a nice place to visit, but living there is a bit far.
You should only go and live in Japan if you have a legitimate reason for being there, like work or being married to someone Japanese (or having family in Japan etc), otherwise it's a bit silly speaking of learning Japanese, I am amazed by how much I remember considering I ain't touched no learning resources for ages. Now that I've got free time I'll start learning again. Also, I still need to finish Monster Girl Quest. Maybe I'll do it on tinychat soon.
Japan would be a nice place to visit, but living there is a bit far.
Yeah, living there is a real hassle if you are a foreigner.
You should only go and live in Japan if you have a legitimate reason for being there, like work or being married to someone Japanese (or having family in Japan etc), otherwise it's a bit silly
Or if you live in such a shitty place which you want to leave as soon as possible.
Or if you live in such a shitty place which you want to leave as soon as possible.
Then there are better places to go to than Japan.
Then there are better places to go to than Japan.
I'd rather live somewhere like Austria or some form of Scandinavian country.
Also, I still need to finish Monster Girl Quest. Maybe I'll do it on tinychat soon.
Yes please. I finished MGQ but tinychat was fun yo
ye I'll come on every day starting tomorrow anyway, since I've got time to whether I'm on in the morning of course is another thing
ye I'll come on every day starting tomorrow anyway, since I've got time to whether I'm on in the morning of course is another thing
Yer I got time P. much every night. Except this sunday, turning 18 woo.
Then there are better places to go to than Japan.
That's obvious. But what I meant is that one would rather choose Japan over Bangladesh or Uzbekistan if they had a possibility to decide where to live. And apparently I should improve my English because I keep making misunderstandings.
Your English is fine.
Written is, sadly having an accent can sometimes cause problems.
Won't speaking slowly enough do the job? Not that I know anything about it, but I could easily understand Niko in GTA IV, probably because I'm from eastern Europe as well and also have that accent while speaking English.
Yeah, living there is a real hassle if you are a foreigner.
good thing I've got aunts and uncles who live in Japan. I can't tell you how much easier it is for me.

It's just that it can be harder sometimes. I mean, my first language is French, still got an accent, but since I speak English a lot, it's easy to understand me. It comes with practice.
