i hope you can land on planets with human inhabitants who are still in the dark ages or have a low level of technology.
I always thought terraria had potential to be a game where you start off with wood houses and pointy sticks and end up with with space age lasers and shit but instead we get a clusterfuck of magic, ores and stuff but it still makes for a great game Starbound is shaping up to be a ridiculously awesome game however, and I don't care if there's progression of technology or not but yeah that'd be neat to meet an uncivilised race and have them worship you as gods just because you can fly and shoot laser beams
and THEN genocide them?
Here's hoping for weapons of mass destruction. I doubt it's going to happen but I want it to.
As long as we have a way to genocide a species I'm happy
Has stairs been confirmed/disconfirmed? I really dont like the platform-way of getting to other floors
Has stairs been confirmed/disconfirmed? I really dont like the platform-way of getting to other floors
stairs work and you climb up one step blocks.
Specifically I'd like to be able to slowly deprive an atmosphere of oxygen until everything on the planet suffocates, then I could go in in space suits and safely recover anything useful.

I really hope that there's a Horde of Alien Locusts type of enemy, so that you could find a nest on a planet and have to Exterminatus that shit.
Specifically I'd like to be able to slowly deprive an atmosphere of oxygen until everything on the planet suffocates, then I could go in in space suits and safely recover anything useful.
Aurora.
I wish this game had procedurally generated cities
Specifically I'd like to be able to slowly deprive an atmosphere of oxygen until everything on the planet suffocates, then I could go in in space suits and safely recover anything useful.
That sounds... familiar [sp]I knew it, I'm surrounded by assholes![/sp]
I wish this game had procedurally generated cities
How do you know it won't?
Aurora.
Take you hard science fiction games elsewhere, nerd.
Has stairs been confirmed/disconfirmed? I really dont like the platform-way of getting to other floors
sorry but i just have to ask, did you even read this thread or look at any of the pictures posted at all? pictures with stairs in them were around only a few pages in, and we've also talked about them a bit. please at least make an effort to find the things you need.

if i ever play as a birdo, totes making big bird's place or a bird cage
if i ever play as a birdo, totes making big bird's place or a bird cage
I'd make it all Chozo-like, myself. But then again the Avians are pretty much the Chozo to begin with. Still planning on being a robit. Small tidbit regarding what Tiy has planned for quests:
I'd make it all Chozo-like, myself. But then again the Avians are pretty much the Chozo to begin with. Still planning on being a robit.
Why not make a red, orange and yellow robot and have both?
Why not make a red, orange and yellow robot and have both?
Give this fucking guy a medal
I kinda want the Robot race to have armor to make them look like Gundams, but that probably won't happen :C
I will play as a human because [del]I'm racist[/del] I want a beard.
Who's to say robots won't have beards
Who's to say robots won't have beards
maybe there will be a fake beard hat I'd wear that all day
I always make humans in any game with multiple races. Warcraft, Rift, Guildwars, Skyrim.. and soon starbound. Mainly because people that play as any nonhuman race fall under the category of "roleplaying douchebag" in my.book.
Mainly because people that play as any nonhuman race fall under the category of "roleplaying douchebag" in my.book.
Now that is just rude.

No other reason, Just mechs, I'm a sucker for mech, robots and power armour.
Mainly because people that play as any nonhuman race fall under the category of "roleplaying douchebag" in my.book.
Lol no. Also you mention Warcraft, i really hope you mean World of, because if you think people who play another race in an RTS where all the races have different units, you are retarded
