Screw that, robot mafioso!
I've been following this since the first announcement of it. I'm gonna be honest. At first I was iffy about it but now it seems like it's turned into a beautiful game and I can't wait to get into it. :)

RIP in peace, TFTG:TSFTAG :c
I just thought of something: How are robots going to work in 'Survival Mode'?
I know extreme heat or cold can be seriously detrimental to their functioning, but what about eating and drinking? They going to eat batteries and drink oil or something? Or do they eat normal food and just write it off as 'bio-fuel'?

Notrium had a good system. Androids had no hunger, but they would constantly drain their batteries, which is normally used for flashlights and such.

Tales From The Galactopticon: The Search For the Argemitis Galacticus, of course!
Was a really awesome looking mod that was being made by a bunch of Facepunch people. That character, John Solomon, was the main character, played by TH89.
Been a loooong time since we've had any updates sadly.

Oh and Batplane.

Honestly, I hope the randomly generated enemies aren't the only thing out there.
Enemies would be way too inconsistent for me to enjoy and would end up being a jumbled mess.

well there was a bunch of monsters that're going to be added from that "make a monster" contest
As long as there may be some kind of Alien civilizations that are based on one type of generated monsters, I don't have any issues.
But if there will be like 1000 randomly generated monsters on a single planet, that you encounter every few seconds... I will have a hard time enjoying this.
Perhaps 10 unique species per planet? Enough to keep it interesting but not over varied.

Granted we haven't seen a whole lot about how enemies will work but it seems that what Cows Rule said is the case. I think Tiy might have actually addressed that in one of those IRC chat logs awhile back but I'm not sure.
Maybe variation in how many spawn between the 10-15 species? Like, one species spawns very commonly, while another spawns rarely.
I'd imagine there are multiple species of different monsters.
For example, duck billed 6 legged monsters only live one one planet, part of the species duck bill, and duck billed 4 legged live on another, part of the same species.
Or there would be multiple same-procedurally-generated monsters running about

Or they'd live on the same planet, but in different environments.
Like 4 legged space ducks live on the surface
Six legged space ducks live just beneath the surface in caves and can cling to walls and shit.
Then eyeless, pale, six legged space ducks live deep below the surface and move extremely fast and are 2spooky for hunting season
And on a semi related note, I am fully erect at the idea of an exploration mode as an early release.
We should shorten it from six-llegged duck to centiduck or duckipede
rolls off tongue
