We should shorten it from six-llegged duck to centiduck or duckipede rolls off tongue
We must go further. Octoducks.
I, for one, want a bestiary journal for everything you encounter.
I think they had something like that planned.
I hope there will be derelict space stations.
I hope there will be derelict space stations.
Ridded with 13's and "N" logos.
Ridded with 13's and "N" logos.
And dusty clown masks?
And dusty clown masks?
Don't forget SWAT helmets and red space suits. Oh, and pAI units.
this is hilarious considering I just came from the ss13 thread.
this is hilarious considering I just came from the ss13 thread.
I thought this WAS the ss13 thread.
We must go further. Octoducks.
Dodecaheducks
I thought this WAS the ss13 thread.
With the last few posts yeah me too. Was about to post something about it too.
the winner of the hat contest made some fanart of all the winning entries (mine's the second from the top)
I still don't know how that saucer with blue balls won anything. Or even the cardboard hat.
I still don't know how that saucer with blue balls won anything. Or even the cardboard hat.
Both of them had fancy presentation. One had an elaborate flash animation, the other had a very nicely drawn "Poster" advertising it. My favorite is still the motivator :v: Hah, I just noticed this on the Scalpion's entry
Why are all the hats surrounded by naked midgets?
Naked midgets are sexy. Duh.

Ouya? The fuck is that?
Occulus Rift support pls or no buy.
Ouya? The fuck is that?
A small box you can hook up to your TV/screen and play mobile games on. If you feel like shelling out money to play Angry Birds stretched out on a 40" screen, then that's for you. Also people that get off to Richard Stallman consider it the second coming or something.

it's a gimmick really
it's a gimmick really
You could say that about any HTPC with android/nix on it.

I can't wait for this game, but the biggest selling point is that the enemies and passives/friendlies are gonna be different on each world. Unlike Terraria, where it was "zombies, zombies, and in the later game we have something special in store. sprite-swapped zombies with extra HP! yay~"
I got paid today, I've got 900$ in my savings account just aching to be blown on some o dat ooey gooey Starbound Gucci
Don't Ouya games need to be free, or rely on microtransactions, or something?
Don't Ouya games need to be free, or rely on microtransactions, or something?
I believe it was something like this. The Ouya seems to be great, to be honest. Obviously, it's nearly only mobile games at the moment available for it. But one of the points of this box is to create an open market where everyone can contribute, which also means there will be more games designed for the Ouya.

Isn't the PC an open market that you can program on, attach any peripheral available to, attach to both a monitor and TV, completely control the settings of, and in addition do more than just gaming as well? It's like having the ability to buy an MP3 player that you can completely rewrite to do whatever you want, comes with support for nearly every file type, a built-in radio, etc; instead you buy a cheap chinese knockoff that can only play wma files. I'll never understand the ouya, or why people want one. Or for that matter, why any dev would want to develop for it.

I know many people who are not really into computer entertainment beside surfing some basic webs and watching movies... They can't install crap by themselves without breaking whole OS and burning their hardware. So there must be some idiotproof platform, where even PnP formats (Plug and play) will be able to be used by yet not born people, animals and probably insects too. But really, how many times did you hear from someone that computers are hard to use... Yet, we only are talking about installing simple softwares and using them. We do not talk about programming, hardware tweaking nor desigining some crap... just simple usage of "common" soft.
