Starbound - Terraria goes to space - Games

I wonder how will the background transitions look, if they'll fade abruptly like in Terraria, or perhaps there will be a nice "smooth" transition.

If the atmosphere could make the sun appear unlit like that you would not be able to see any other starts at all. And you likely wouldn't even be able to see the sun there either.

Current hopes are Q1 of this year, and they're thinking about releasing a beta for pre-orders that just has the sandbox and no story.

Also about the image with the sunsetting. that doesn't look quite right, as Onyx said. It should probably be lighter, and then just more of a yellow/orange tint to the natural sun light. I'd think anyway.

Why is this still not out? I tought it was supposed to come out in 2012...
