Those are temporary and they're meant to be replaced. And a robot knight.
You have no idea how giddy that made me when I saw it, it's two of my favorite things coming together makes absolutely no sense, but holy shit it's cool
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/IuDC7.png[/thumb] Oh god look at that boat.
Oh god I just realized it's supposed to be Wind Waker. I love the devs already.
Im just hoping to be able to craft a giant death navy. death navy.
Starbound seems really amazing already, even without storyline. I wouldn't mind playing it in it's current iteration, but here's hoping he'll release the thing once he's done with everything but the storyline. I'd be able to play this so much just by building stuff.

You're the only person of your race left. You find a derelict space station.. Which you use to plan your revenge against the assailants. Then you destroy the mass relays and royally fuck every alien that came to assist you, shep--.. fuck, what?
I just can't wait to commit mass genocide.
Starbound is at least going to be amazing because it's the engine Terraria wanted to have. Like an improvement on every front. And it looks like they're going to cram in as much content in as possible, which is fucking amazing in any sandbox-style game period.

And because it's a different setting it doesn't feel like what Terraria should have been at all. It even looks like a completely different game as is.
They seem to be spilling out content more frequently every day too, which gives me high hopes the release will actually be within the next few months, hopefully!
I like how they're actually working hard on the game instead of releasing a bunch of teasers.
The oceans look so awesome! I hope they're super big on ocean planets, would be fun to have a naval battle with friends.
I just can't wait to commit mass genocide.
I can't wait until I can build a cool house and sit around it all day, shifting about because I am unsatisfied with the amount of junk I have.
The oceans look so awesome! I hope they're super big on ocean planets, would be fun to have a naval battle with friends.
we'll call it, battleship!
I thought it was confirmed for Q1 of this year?
Yeah I believe it was, but I mean then again we've already had a few delays so you never know. But I'm not complaining, the better the final product quality, the happier I am.
I thought it was confirmed for Q1 of this year?
Not really confirmed, that's the target. They're aimed at releasing in the best condition they can, regardless of date.
I thought it was confirmed for Q1 of this year?
No confirmation. Just a vague "2013" release date goal. It's hard to stay optimistic sometimes
No confirmation. Just a vague "2013" release date goal. It's hard to stay optimistic sometimes
But I want it now ;-;
But I want it now ;-;
I'd rather it be finished in a month than be buggy now.
I'm optimistic for summer.
I hope the randomly generated monsters can be of variable sizes. Just knowing the fact that there could be a randomly-generated FUCKING HUGE fish monster somewhere in a random planet's ocean would have me buy eight copies of this game.
i think that would look weird considering the whole pixel art style
i think that would look weird considering the whole pixel art style
Unless it could generate unique, giant creatures.
I'm going to make a dude and I'm gonna call him Ishmael
Make him an Ape so he can have a white beard. [editline]oh hamburgers[/editline] Or I might be thinking of Ahab. I've never read Moby Dick.
I'm still very curious on how the bosses are gonna be and look, if there are any.
Im making a robot named SN-R4D CLATER and he will be a swordsman in search of the company that destroyed his production line
i was gonna be unoriginal and make HK-47.
Dark green robot. Ork bot.
