I wanna build on an asteroid.
I'd like to build a laboratory from which I methodically record, and kill every creature on a planet. I mean, what

I'd go out of my way to get a planet of just these and Mech Cats co-existing together. Then again, imagine if they tried breeding.............*shudder*

Now the question is, will we be able to make a stew with it?
Now the question is, will we be able to make a stew with it?
Flabbit stew. They are called flabbits. Flabbits god damn you.
At the bottom of an ocean on an uninhabitable moon
bonus points if the seas are alkaline
bonus points if the seas are alkaline
And the bricks are made of silica.
The ocean will be plain water, but freshwater will be liquid Cesium. You what that means? Build your base on an exploding river delta.
The ocean will be plain water, but freshwater will be liquid Cesium. You what that means? Build your base on an exploding river delta.
Huh? Liquid Cesium?
Huh? Liquid Cesium?
Basically a metal that melts at around 30 degrees celcius and also likes to spontaneously combust when in contact with water.
Basically a metal that melts at around 30 degrees celcius and also likes to spontaneously combust when in contact with water.
So if it rains, the world ends?
So if it rains, the world ends?
The only world that ends is the poor shmuck's planet where you left all that Cesium on :v:
It'd be interesting if you could find asteroids/meteors to build on, that actually moved through the universe. Like you could build a huge space castle on one, or just hollow it out and stuff it full of explosives, and then give it a push using some sort of machine or space craft, and smash it into a planet to destroy it. Iunno man, would be coo.

[editline]16th January 2013[/editline]
Metal evaporates?
It wouldn't have to. The good old classic H2O water we know and love would evaporate from the oceans, forming the rain. The rain then moves in land, and falls onto the Cesium freshwater.

You know what's terrifying? THAT'S NOT EVEN THE MOST VIOLENT REACTION AN ELEMENT IS CAPABLE OF. Good thing Francium only exists in trace amounts.
You know what's terrifying? THAT'S NOT EVEN THE MOST VIOLENT REACTION AN ELEMENT IS CAPABLE OF. Good thing Francium only exists in trace amounts.
On this planet maybe...What if there was a planet where it was possible to have large amounts of francium? You could take out their entire planet with a super soaker...
You know what's terrifying? THAT'S NOT EVEN THE MOST VIOLENT REACTION AN ELEMENT IS CAPABLE OF. Good thing Francium only exists in trace amounts.
I did some googling... Are Francium bombs legitimate? If so, that's terrifying.
Assuming an oxygen atmosphere, remember that fire requires oxygen.
I did some googling... Are Francium bombs legitimate? If so, that's terrifying.
If I remember correctly, the half life of Francium is too short to create a viable bomb from it. [editline]17th January 2013[/editline] Which I just realised is probably why you can't get it in high quantities, and would mean my super-soaker idea for planetary annihilation would not work.
Starbound thread where we talk about hazardous chemicals

Birds are coo.
I want back story on the aquatic race.
I want back story on the aquatic race.
They evolved from single celled life but then said lol fuck u to evolution when they were supposed to start stomping up on land.
I can't help but feel the backstory of the robots are a medieval society that somehow got themselves transferred into robot bodies but continue to live medieval lives Fuckin robot knights, this pleases me greatly Oh! Just got this snippet from the starbound forums, a list of the current game mechanics and their progress:
World Generation System = Basically Complete Dungeon Generation System = Complete Crafting System = Works, but contains only partial info at this time.
Jesus christ I can't tell if some of you guys are joking or not sometimes.
This guy is the only 2D thing in a game that has actually scared me.
Because we’re working so hard to make each planet unique, we want to give you the tools to catalogue the things you find and make sure absolutely everything you find has depth in the world. Much like old school point and click adventures, absolutely every object in the world, right down to the trees and flowers, can be examined for a description.
This is my favorite thing about the game, more games need this.

Wasn't there like a deep backstory to that boss? Like.. an aborted fetus that got pissed off or something shitty like that? When Gugyas grew up, he was tasked with killing him. However, the reason he became evil was because the Apple of Enlightenment told Gigyas about his defeat by Ness later in life. To stop this, he attacks earth 20 years earlier and still gets killed. And then he goes inside the Apple of Enlightenment and (for some reason) decides a demon fetus is the best way to portray himself.
