I honestly hope not all alien tribes are hostile. It was annoying to have all creatures in Terraria try to tear me a new behind. I want some trading with aliens! Besides who would want to kill such cute little lizard-people with spears :v:

it'd be neat if you could be the one to start like a federation of sorts, and try diplomacy and such. i'd like to have NPC companions for when i'm in single player with their own unique skills and abilities.

This wallpaper reminds me of Atlantis.

I don't think I've been this hyped for a game since the first videos of Spore. And that ended with a huge disappointment. Hopefully it won't be the case this time, matter of fact I hope most of the things they mention are already at least partly implemented.

all i can hope for is smoother multi and non warping enemies. i know it varies server to server but most had that issue for terraria.

Judging from the twitter, they worked on it. Tested with an UK -> US connection apparently it's smooth. So there is hope!

sigh im still suffering a severe want to play between starbound and Cube world... i actually fired up both terraria and minecraft but didn't really do anything.

Seeing this thread not only keeps me in anticipation of being rock hard but it makes me kind of sad that I can't be playing this game right now. I'm very anxious to nom on this game. Posting again kind of helps quell the anticipation somehow.

Most of the contest winners' creatures look too...kiddish. I was expecting at least a few 'creepy' creatures.

If there are space marine type dudes, hopefully they won't be just human. I'd like to see lizard men in combat armor.

I just hope they don't have another leak that results in pressure to release the game much earlier than intended like with terraria.

Terraria zombies were considerably more creepy than Minecraft ones. And then there's the shit in the corruption.
