That's because you're right handed. To a left handed person, holding it in the right hand looks stupid and unwieldy as fuck.
Or, when you improperly mod a texture in CS:S and the gun ends up being held in the players left hand. Looks weird as all sin.
Page king needs content, but this is all I can do.

God damn it I'm gone for one day and we're back to lewdness.
I noticed someone disagreed with my statement on the robots being the same as everyone else, the only reason why I still feel this way is Tiy himself stated the only difference between races is aesthetics. Hyoltls can't breathe underwater without their specific armor.
So Robots will most likely need gear for underwater and space exploration, as well as the need to eat. I mean is it unbelievable to say a Robot could have engineered a generator inside themselves that runs off biomass?

Well the robots aren't truly robots actually.
Someone mentioned that they used to be this advanced organic race that transplanted their brains into the new metallic bodies and continued their society as is.
So it would make sense that they need to refresh their nutrient intake from time to time, and maybe for whatever reason their robot heads aren't insulated or built to withstand the pressure of deep ocean or space environments.
Check out star wars
Not entirely sure if you intended that as an insult, or you were trying to liken the use of swords to lightsabers.
Or maybe the robots eat and wear pressurized suits because they suffered a malfunction in their coding that led to their belief of being organic lifeforms!
i like the idea that they're basically automatons housing a organic brain
So Cortex Command, basically?

The latter. Sorry if it came out as insulting.

There's also vibro-blades even though nobody uses them ever.
There's also vibro-blades even though nobody uses them ever.
A few buddies of mine played the living shit out was SWG-EMU, SWG, and whatever the most recent failure of a starwars MMO that was released was called, every time they said "Vibroknuckler" I couldn't help but giggle.
There's also vibro-blades even though nobody uses them ever.
True, as well as some sort of stun melee weapons as well. But in both cases they are used more as tools and as last ditch weapons than as a primary offensive weapon like a lightsaber.

SWG-EMU is gone now? That's a shame.
I remember playing the original SWG with my friend, He was a Wookie Bounty hunter and I was a Rodian Smuggler.
He used this bigass vibro axe and I used a carbine and a pistol. We worked almost exclusively for Jabba before finishing his quest line (which was dissapointingly short for some reason).
I have great memories driving around with him on Tatooine looking at all the practically abandoned player made cities.
As clunky as that game was, I don't think any MMO has come close to the level of detail or awesomeness SWG was.
The Old Republic was a dissapointment. The Storylines were fantastic, but each planet was extremely linear and offered almost nothing in the way of exploration. That, as well as a sort of lackluster, shallow crafting system and SHIT space combat is what really got to me.
I was never a fan of the cartoony, cell shaded style either.
But my biggest issue with the game was their oversimplification of the class system. In Star Wars Galaxy you actually felt as if you were part of the planetary/galactic society, where you didn't necessarily have to choose to be good at combat in order to succeed. Non combatant classes like chef or entertainer or mixologist(?lol?) were what made the ingame economy so interesting and viable.
In The Old Republic, YOU WERE THE HERO and pretty much everything revolved around you.
The classes were essentially just different types of combat, and crafting was always a losing proposition for you because guess what? Unless you got EXTREMELY lucky when crafting, say a gun that had a couple mod slots, your version of the item was pretty much categorically worse than an item that could be bought at specific vendors, or found as a quest reward, or a loot drop.
The problem with TOR is that it's linear character storyline made it largely a single pass MMO, where you would enjoy playing through the storyline, and then have trouble picking the game up again to start from scratch with another character. It lacked the flexibility and sheer awesomeness SWG had when it came to planetside and space activities.
I mean in SWG you could actually SEE EACH COMPONENT in 3D you wanted to put into your ship, and while it may not have been overwhelmingly detailed, it was that detail that made you feel like you were building and customizing your ship from scratch, which in my mind is paramount if you are going to make any sort of space exploration/adventure game.
Anyways, that ends my long winded exhibition about SWG and TOR in the starbound thread, but what the hell, it's not like there has been any particularly earth shattering news about the game in a bit.

Here's another 5 minute livestream of a character running to the right of the map.
Kay show's over.
SWG-EMU is gone now? That's a shame.
Nope! Still going. Couldn't say how far they've come along exactly, as I haven't played it in quite a while, but I do know they got the object restructuring done and are making tons of progress on it.

Hopefully you can make a robot which looks somewhat like this.

I jizzed a little.
I know, I was just saying that when it comes out, it will not be too soon. As in....ah nevermind. I'm just hyped.
Damn it all, that's fucking awesome. I wanna see the robot ship
Am I the only one who think that ship design is really bland and boring? I know you can only do so much with 2d, but seriously it just lacks imagination.
your supposed to decorate it and it will have a lot of shit to interact with
thats just the layout
