I want my space station to be underground so my rocket/space vehicle has to come out of my underground bunker like a nuke
That reminds me of the countless times I made missile launching stations underground in Cortex Command. They stopped working after a few corpses.
for some reason those textures don't seem as detailed as Terraria's
I don't know
Just a different art style.

I personally think they look better than Terraria's textures.
the different blocks don't seem to blend as well as the blocks in terraria did is what I think I mean
it's pretty abrupt color changes
or maybe I am just losing my mind

It's still in development, there's always a chance it will change.
My patience for this game is wavering like mad.
Hi guys
For a while now we've been receiving emails, tweets, forum messages etc from people asking us how they can support Starbound. A lot of people have been asking for a paypal address or some other means of donating.
I've always said that I wouldn't like to take monetary donations towards the release of a commercial product. Frankly I think if you're going to send us your money you deserve to get something in return.
So, another dev team (one I won't name just yet, but they're wonderful people with a wonderful game) who happen to be Starbound fans have offered to put their game forwards as a means of supporting the development of Starbound.
Much like an indie bundle, if you were to buy the game a % of the profits would go to the developers and a % of profits would go to us, and in turn directly support the development of Starbound.
As always, we massively value your feedback, thoughts and feelings. So I've put together a little poll.
Does this sound like a good way to support us?
Let me know
Take care!
P.S.
Kyren thought it'd be amusing to make it rain fish.
Yep, it's definitely raining fish there.
Planet that rains diamonds that hurt.
I want it to rain cats and dogs
the cats and dogs are sentient, and are at war. The player must choose a side.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say its Gaslamp Games who are the unknown second party.

This can only end well. Homestuck has amazing music, and since Radiation and Solatrus joined, I'm sure this game will have some sick beats as well.

Holy shit yes!
While I'm not overly fond of Homestuck. The music is very good. So yes, this is good news all around
What the hell is Homestuck, it's like all I ever hear about some days.

It's a webcomic(styled like a text-based adventure game) with flash videos/games/interactive stuff. It's a bit hard to get into but it gets good.

Brilliant. Fox and Solatrus are great artists.
I kind of wish Bowman was in as well, his album is one of my all time favourites.
There's a good chance that the game you get for donating to Starbound's cause is Wanderlust, people on the Starbound forums are speculating this due to a recent link at the bottom of the Wanderlust website links directly to the Starbound site.

I'd be okay with donating to Starbound's development and getting a fun looking hack and slash for my trouble.
I think it would be cool to have the ability to not only explore planets but perhaps sometimes you can chance upon a randomly generated space station/ large ship. not only could you find cool new stuff but i think it would be a good horror-style environment almost deadspacey, the game certainly has the lighting for it

can't wait for "songs radiation has done in the past changed very slightly" to be in the game

A forum game turned comic by Andrew what's-his-name.
I was there when it was a forum game, and I didn't think it was very entertaining.

that's a stupid thing to say
why wouldn't he make new music?

It's DimJim, why would you expect anything more than stupidity?

Wanderlust is a really fun game if you enjoy oldschool coop games.
Anyone heard the rumors of a director mode?
