He wasn't a very good PR guy.

This randomly generated music concept sounds ridiculously awesome, I simply love that. I hope they have some really awesome tunes like in Terraria. I also loved how the music switched between those different areas.

While I agree with Junker, I certainly hope the music is BETTER than Terraria, its music was alright, but there was only... what? Like 6, 7 tracks? I mean yeah I know about the music randomizer for Starbound I just hope the overall quality is superior to Terraria's.

This randomly generated stuff remind me of Spore. Sounds pretty good.

Every time I see more info I just keep thinking "Spore... Spore Spore" and i'm like "What if its going to be the game that spore was meant to be?" If so, its going to be totally awesome.

It reminds me more of space-themed pixel wars.

Is there any place I can sign for the Beta or it will be open for the peeps?

Would've made things seem a lot less black and white when it comes to biome edges and stuff.

To be honest; the creature gen part sounds like different random gib parts slammed together via a folders upon folders of creature gibs that can be randomly placed to make a creature.

I'm wondering though if there will be rival space factions colonizing planets and forming their own military bases, which we'd have to assault and eliminate. Or ally foreign empires and form trade routes to get some helpful resources every 30 minutes or so. Perhaps even a need to manage the colonies you establish, perhaps even revolt or defect to other empires? It's a 2D Spore.

I've only played for about 45 minutes but I very much disagree collecting equipment, stuff to build with etc said building hiding inside/constructing a home when night time (not to mention day and night) sprawling/randomly generated map with a lot of different enemies and stuff to explore Seems a whole lot like minecraft if you ask me

Ugh, that new info makes me even more excited for this! Just like about a year ago, when I was excited for Terraria. Hopefully next year Starbound will still be around.

Some of the people that make these draw such ridiculous conclusions that it hurts my brain thinking about it. Also, why do they feel the need to analyze the pictures anyways?
